Premier League weekend fixtures 11/12/13 August

No space for Sane in that line-up even though he was one of their better players last year. They just seem so stacked in the attacking department - would be interesting to see how Pep keeps everyone happy.

Sane not starting! Have to take him out of my fantasy footie then:mad:

City should have spent the Bernardo Silva on an actual CM. Balance Pep, balance...

Defense and still imbalanced team. Also Pep will mix it around tirelessly just for the sake of it.
The back 3 does help compensate for their defensive weaknesses, and Kompany at the back is always a huge plus for them. Having said that, their flanks look incredibly weak, particularly when the wing backs push up.

And they still want Sanchez or Mbappe. Can't see them getting either.

No point sitting crying about it. Having Cahill out for 3 isn't the end of the world when we've got Luiz, Azpi and Christiansen there and Moses will be back next game at RB. Not a great time to meet Spurs but then again we haven't see how their start to the season will go yet. They seem to have some internal unrest of their own going on if Rose is any indication and they've lost Walker of course. Hazard is always a loss, but hopefully Pedro will be back which will help a lot, plus we might have Bakayoko back. As for Costa, if todays anything to go by, Morata will step in just fine.

Listing some of that actually makes me think of Arsenal last year. Top boys out and completely not ready for the start of the season. Only difference is they at least lost one of their harder games, whereas you've lost an absolute home banker

With so many quality attacking players left out, you'd think they'd bin this wing back thing off, to fit one more in!

Hopefully Brighton apply the often seen quality early performances, whilst City take time to gel.

With City not spending on a central defender this season, a back 3 is the only way for them to compensate for their weaknesses. Brighton need to stretch the pitch and drag Stones and Otamendi out to the flanks.

For us to win the league we need to do better than our rivals. If a player for our rivals tares up the league we are less likely to win it. For that reason I don't want a player at our rivals to do well.

I understand. I just don't like the abuse and childish behaviour that comes with it. I was Man Utd to win the league too, I just want to conduct myself in a mature manner.

Christ McManaman is at it already. "This wonderful City side."

What exactly has this City side done to be so wonderful?

Scouse twat.

My Brighton supporting mate at the game today absolutely convinced City will score at least five:lol:

That fair enough . I must admit I like the banter between opposing teams it's all part of the pageantry of the game.

Jesus and Agüero are showing fantastic movement so far. They're giving the Brighton defence a torrid time so far.
