Premier League weekend fixtures 11/12/13 August

This is chaos. As expected Brighton have grown in confidence because we can't put anything in the fecking goal.

Glenn Murray's coming on for Tomer Hemed. I don't know if that change will work well for them as Murray doesn't provide the hard work that Hemed does, but I guess Hemed is starting to tire out.

Brighton's defence is really, really well organized.

Doesn't seem like they have too much pace up front, which is a bit limiting for a counter-attacking game.

Today is pointing to an inevitable 1-1 against West Ham tomorrow. Every time our rivals dropped points last season, we somehow managed to feck things up too. Hope this season will be different.

Come on Brighton!

I thought Pep was a genius though? Surely he knows how to score past a Brighton bus?

Walker really is useless v packed defences.
City have the same problem as last year, a lot of players who score 6/7 goals a season but they have no real support for Aguero when he's being marked like this

That Glenn Murray change has turned out to be a bad one. Murray's not as good on the ball as Hemed is, and Brighton have struggled to keep the ball because of that.

Sane will open it up for them. Citeh has been playing with a lack of width and has largely been ineffective being restricted to the centre of the pitch.

Same story as us really, only they have some wide players to put on.

They really need some aerial strength in the middle. It's games like these that make you understand why Barca signed Ibra all those years ago. He can play the technical game, but when that doesn't work, he can just use his brute strength and height to create opportunities. Aguero can never do that.
