I mean there’s a reason Mallorca have dropped to the third level, well other than their horrific owners and how they’re run.. He was great for them, obviously much younger and more raw. Has improved leaps and bounds, but the talent was always there.
Was seen as exceptional, and just like with Isco Barca had the perfect opportunity to get Asensio. This was back in those days where Barca was the top dog along with an upcoming Real, and yet this Barca board arrogantly declined through the negotiations because of some small additional cost - in which real quickly secured Asensio. I don't know the exact details, except that Barca fumbled the ball on this...
