Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I'm not sure he's ever shown anything to suggest they would drop any of their CMs for him tbh. I think he's more likely to get the CM role at Chelsea, as Conte loves players like him in the middle. Take the Italy team where Giaccherini played that role.

I was thinking he would play as an attacker at Liverpool, not first choice mind. I think he will play RWB at Chelsea. They are looking at Drinkwater for CM and already have Kante Fabregas and Bakayoko

Matic was good last season IMO. I didn't understood why people said he was declining. He played 35 matches and was fundamental in their team last season.

Willian is a different case and he's really not any good anymore and was reduced to the bench the whole season. Perisic was far better option than him.

Willian isn't any good?

Do you watch football? He's been sensational.

Yeah and I think he'll drop Fabregas in a heartbeat for some one who can run. You might be right though. I think he could also play Willian or Pedros role though, so I think he'll cover a load of positions under Conte.

They are short in number for a CB with Gabriel sold and Mustafi rumours riniging around. Jose whole summer said he is looking for someone who can play across the front line, I don't see anyone better than sanchez in that mould.
Knowing Wenger, he'll rather have Sterling than Smalling. But I see no reason why Sterling would want to move to Arsenal.

If City fail it from here to land Alexis and least it is a nice little confidence boost for Sterling from Pep. Genius.

I think Sterling plus £20 million upfront would be a good deal for Arsenal all things considered.

Can't believe that for a second considering Sterling was their brightest spark in the last few games I watched them. More importantly, I struggle to find appropriate reasons for Sterling himself to agree with such arrangement and join Arsenal apart from it being London based club.
He will be guaranteed game time.

Arsenal should take the offer and run.

I think they better take a bus, cause they are not running very fast or far.

I think people seriously overplay the victim card with Sanchez and most clubs would ask for money in that swap. Arsenal should take it and drive.

"Arsene, what would you rather have, a raw diamond or a turd?" "What's the difference?" "The raw diamond is obviously worth a lot potentially, but you need to spend a lot of money to cut and refine it. The turd...i guess you could polish it with a brush..." "ah, but my friend, if you polish a turd enough, it is indistinguishable from a diamond!"

Surely bollocks? Hes dug them out of two holes this seaskn so far.
In comparison Sanchez is a miles better player at his peak if the offer is true Arsenal should take it becausr he will leave next year on a free and they wont just miss out on money but an ideal replacement.

Honestly I wouldn't mind if we went for Sterling if there's a chance of getting him for a reasonable fee. He would add something to our RW spot + already has plenty EPL experience considering his age.

So a nice scenario could be (since we won't get Sanchez anyways):

Citeh agree terms with Sanchez and he pushes for the move. Sterling refuses to go to Arsenal (due to UCL + title aspirations) so Citeh would need to offer Arsenal more money and get rid of Sterling to make some space for Sanchez + gain a few quid. Ed jumps in and makes a last minute offer for Sterling.

Won't happen of course...

Sterling grew up as an United fan. Just sayin.

Yep, Arsenal should demand Aguero. City might even accept since they prefer Jesus to him anway.
They would then need a striker. They litter the squad with top quality as even 3rd choice. You think they'd be happy with someone like Bony? Nah it'll be Sterling or nobody. Don't see Aguero leaving till his contract expires and he goes back to Argentina.

Would be even better for Citeh..
Pep doesn't seem to rate him that highly anyways so he would get one of his priority signings and get rid of a player he seems to be likely to offload. But what would Arsenal do with Lacazette, Giroud, Welbeck & Agüero for the CF position but lose Sanchez and Ox for the wings??

Agreement between @OfficialSSLazio and @AS_Monaco for @keitabalde14

It will be wise for him to take it. He's really not bigger than Swansea yet, imo.

Players lack that sense unfortunately. Perfect place for him to play every week and show what a talent he is.
