Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

They would then need a striker. They litter the squad with top quality as even 3rd choice. You think they'd be happy with someone like Bony? Nah it'll be Sterling or nobody. Don't see Aguero leaving till his contract expires and he goes back to Argentina.
Pep loves to play with a false 9. Sanchez could play that role if Jesus is out.

I feel a little left out with all other clubs like Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs still looking to make signings. Would love a dramatic last minute signing :D

Monaco have done some great business.
I totally agree. They are selling big and replacing with some serious potential. I don't know people are moaning about them being a selling club. The game is the game. If they don't win Ligue un, no one will bat an eyelid. If they add Dendoncker, it will be a perfect window for them

They'll probably will. He didn't play this weekend, due to transfer issues...

Surely bollocks? Hes dug them out of two holes this seaskn so far.

Yes he's saved them in the last two games, but what has he done for them lately? :p

That's what you get for joining a sugar daddy club: you're never secure whilst there's potentially a new toy to be brought in.

Sterling grew up as an United fan. Just sayin.

So did Welbeck - means nothing.

What are we doing though?

Nothing.

Are they fed up with Bale as a player (ie. he is useless, always injured, getting booed by supporters, etc).
Or fed up by stories linking him away, even though they have no intention of selling and see him as a vital first team player?

Balde Diao for 25mill is a bloody bargain. Incredible talent. Any English club would have been double. That with Monaco flush with cash.

It isn't really type of thing that we ever get involved with. There is always the chance of the player suffering a serious injury and becoming a lesser player at the end of it, then its dead money.

This is a complete non argument, any player can suffer a serious injury at any time for a

Have we got a sell on? ;)

Keita Balde to Monaco is a great signing, doesn't mean they have to sell Lemar either. If they sign Dedoncker too they'll have even more great young players.

Draxler to Dortmund makes more sense than him moving to Arsenal. If he struggles to adapt to the PL quickly then his chances of making the WC are slimmer, he'd fit right into the style of Dortmund and won't need to adapt to living arrangements etc.

We're told unrelated to Coutinho but how is he going to fit in to the team otherwise, and where are Liverpool getting this money from?

To be honest I think even if Coutinho leaves, if you get Keita & Lemar in with that money you've done brilliantly, two players who are going to be superb in a year or two's time.

Looks like all that talk from Arsenal about not letting players leave for a rival was just a show. They are a little shy, but eventually they will spread their legs and become City's b!**h again. They should have done that early in the summer and just gone ahead with another rebuild instead of waiting until the last day.

These cash plus player deals almost never work out. Can't see Sterling going to Arsenal anyway. Really really hope Ed pulls something out of his magic hat, if we sign Sanchez we'd be unstoppable
