If only United could pull off another 11th hour, out of the blue, never saw that coming, Falcao/Martial-esque signing to wrap up an almost perfect day, that would be something!
Ashley Young.
Isn't he injured? Doubt united would set a high price on him either?Fully expect that is Ashley Young.

My guess is Darmian.
Ashley Young.
"It’s understood a move nearly materialised in January and when it didn’t Ed Woodward actually apologised to the player for denying him a transfer."Fully expect that is Ashley Young.
He's going to be popular with Pep.

My thoughts too. Can't think of anyone else Mourinho would've sanctioned to go in January.
Sakho is better than Mangala so they got the right player.
Why on earth is this happening? Is it Conte?Chelsea have been rejected a lot this summer.![]()
Think City will come back with a improved bid for Sanchez.
Was about to ask the same question, has to be ?Why on earth is this happening? Is it Conte?

Chelsea have had a mare.
I remember them signing Arteta in 30 minutes once. Can't see any offer being enough at this stage if Arsenal can't get anyone in.
Radio 5 Live reporting just now that Barkley has today turned down a move to Chelsea.
I'll be getting a call soonThey must be down to about Plan K on their list of targets now.
He does have a reputation for being strict. Maybe they all fancy playing for peanuts with cuddly Uncle Poch. It's strange. I have never seen a league champions being rejected that much.![]()

Brilliant. Mangala is seriously one of the worst signings City have made in recent history.
Not sure how much Arsenal will feel they have lost. They didnt seem at all interested in selling sanchez. Then on transfer day they seem to concoct some 100m deal for someone who doesn't want to join them (which teams usually figure out before bidding...who doesn't figure that out first?!).
That way the fans cant say they 'aren't willing to spend the money'. Didnt they do this last summer as well?
