World Cup 2018 Qualifiers

Say what you like about Dele Alli, but he's the only potential world class player we have. Technically the best player in our team and has excellent decision making.

I'm not sure how you can watch his performance tonight and come to that conclusion.

His decision making especially has been woeful

What are you going on about? I don't support Barca.

Yes because Casilas, Alonso and Ramos wasn't enough prescence in 2010. Do you read what you write? The reason Spain were dominant wasn't because Xavi and Casilas decided to be friends like you claim. It was because they had one of the most talented squads ever. Reason why England haven't been successful isn't down to cliques. They just lack the quality and have for years.

Maybe you need to go out and find yourself a clique.

Maybe you need to get a dictionary and a friend to read it with. Might help.

He has some games for Spurs where you could definitely get that impression, but he's spent most of the evening watching the ball bounce off his shins and cocking up attacks so seems like an odd time to make that statement.

Have you been watching the game? I've lost count how many times he's dawdled on the ball, fannied about and missed the opportunity to pass it into Kane or Rashford. He's been utterly terrible with his decision making this game.

Rashford and Kane have the ability to 'world-class' also...so...

Has anyone seen more dominant performance in qualifiers before than Germany?

8 games - 8 wins, 35-2 GD. Mental

You're not watching the game, are you?

I have a feeling that when Slovakia get to our final third and begin passing to each other Sterling, Alli and Oxlade Chamberlain probably have this confused look on their face wondering what they are doing.

Such a class act!

Look at his big fat head

I would be really, really careful with Brazil's performances.

Brazil have a good structure under Tite.

The climate could play a part. But Russia is usually quite warm during Summer, no? That will benefit Brazil if it is.

Rashford isn't a good enough footballer to ever be truly elite. He'll be a useful player but he just doesn't quite have 'it'. Kane is a good poacher, good poachers don't qualify as elite. You put Harry Kane in the Barca or RM team, he sticks out like a sore thumb, wouldn't be able to link play well enough or provide the occasional bit of magic necessary. Put Rashford in the Barca or RM team, he'd stick out like a sore thumb, he'd combine moments of brilliance because of his pace with many frustrating moments where he doesn't use the ball well enough or makes the wrong decisions/wrong passes. Put Alli in there, he'd play at that level, imo.
