What exactly does Lingard bring to the team? Martial has 3 defenders around him all the time and Lingard can't find space to help him. I don't actually think benfica put a man on Lingard.
Martial may have missed the pen but he is our only attacking threat.

Hmm. Man United with Pogba. They are playing better than us...we really need some attacking instinct. Our attacking players seems so distant. Lindgard, Mata... what is happening... they don't seem to think they have any requirement to do anything at all. Lindgard doesn't seem to know the rules, which doesn't surprise me.

Attacking wise, we have to admit it.. we look flat and have done for quite a few games now. We have started playing better teams, and attacking wise, we are huffing and puffing and getting through. Lindgard looks a poor player, and that League Cup match seems a looooooong while ago now.

We miss Pogba, Carrick, Fellani and Ibrahimovic. Badly. and that concerns me, as our squad shouldn't be waiting for players so much to improve us.
