We haven't offered enough offensively. Lingard, Mata and Lukaku can't get many meaningful touches while McTominay isn't passing forward. Lukaku's finishing has been poor.

On the plus side Martial ha been great, I must say I expected a disjointed affair with the changes we've made and we're one-up (and should be three-up with a missed pen and 1v1). Happy overall.

I'm starting to see what Jose see in Scott, he's a younger version of Fellaini, excellent physical presence in the midfield even if he's not doing flicks and tricks he can be very useful to Jose.

Think most would've become a bit selfish if the other attackers are barely doing much of anything while you create the few stuff that the team makes.
Not that I think it should stay that way, but it's understandable why he wants to have a go, that + he probably wants to make up for that missed penalty and show Mourinho that he can score and assist when he's starting as well.
