Premier League Gameweek 18 (16th - 18th December 2017)

Walker is a machine. He's like an extra man.

The playmakers and FB's are the main difference between us and them. When Mendy was available as well they were ridiculous with overlaps. Impossible to defend against if it is constant from both sides, which allows the wingers to congest the middle.

Spurs started the game pressing well, but once City scored their goal all of Poch's plan collapsed as usual.

Now it's all City.

City are everything wrong with modern football. Their success is not recognised by another with a shred of moral fibre. Buying success with £3bn> of faux investment is petulant.
TBH it would be more of a travesty if they don't win matches, don't break records and don't complete a clean sweep of trophies.

Over £1bn spent in the last few seasons and they call this a "competitive" sport.

He pulled someone down in the box last week as well. We could do better for that much.
I know that we're living in senseless market and times but if we to sign him for that much, we'll deserve everything we're gonna get.

This is Man City when they miss their best CM. Compare it to the performances we put it when we're missing ours.

We're nowhere near them at the moment, and - annoyingly - there's zero shame in that.

It's like watching a small version of Barca 2009. They're forcing every team to go deep against them, Chelsea, us then Spurs.

City are the most incredible PL side I've seen. Utterly relentless. The pace and quality of their play is incredible to watch. The way they hunt in packs and give the opposition nothing. Never seen anything like it in England.

They're making Spurs look like Sunderland.

You can't even tell that Silva is missing

City are dominating and shouldve had a few already. There a cut above the rest unfortunately.

How do you outdo the city pressing game? They are so well oiled at it, even with their tactical fouls. Teams need to find a way to pin them back in their own half since city love to play in the opposition half.

If Spurs don't win, atleast the minimal consolation is we won't get a million articles from journos on how Mourinho is a dour dinosaur who only wins trophies while Poch is reinventing football as we know it by putting the pressure on.

It’s ridiculous how every team can’t seem to outdo City.
There have been what-if moments this season. Bournemouth away one of them.

Liverpool or Arsenal will be their away undoing. You need a side reckless and gung-ho to outdo them. The longer the game was 1-0 with Mane on Liverpool would've fancied their chances.

This game shows why we never even bothered trying to play it out from the back against this lot

We need to score again, no way Spurs will be so open 2nd half. too many missed chances might bite us in the arse.

This is what happens when you try and attack them, tough to string any passes together because of their pressing and then their 1 touch passing to move in to the attacking third is incredible.
I think they look better than Peps Bayern at this point
