Very exciting line up. I just hope that midfield won't get overrun. Pogba will have to stay disciplined

Happens every time. This time will be different, surely? Sanchez with our current attackers? Can see Lukaku getting more chances now and will hopefully improve his scoring rate.
Hope so but this has happened so many times, it’s sickening plus Scouse got a good result yesterday. Rarely do we get to piss on their party these days hope Sánchez will put that to bed.

That is what I've been saying. He and Pogba are in contention for PL player of the month - Martial with 3 goals and 1 assist in 3 games and Pogba with 4 assists in 3 games.

@charlenefan (first reply to the thread), @Devil may care, @Android1974 are three that come to mind but there were plenty more.

I was just going off our managers usual lean towards caution, Fellaini also didn't play against Yeovil, where as Lingard did, I felt sure one of Martial or Lingard would make way, and I admit the cynic in me felt it would be Martial so Sanchez could play on the Left, I'm more than happy to be wrong, I just hope we aren't going to play Pogba too deep.

Concerned that not having a midfield 3 is going to cost us here. Guess Jose wants to banish that park the bus tag.
Lingard will drop deep to make it 3 when we haven't got the ball.

People make far too much of formations, myself included.

Matic and Pogba have to step up considering that attacking front four. Big ask against a good Spurs side.

Looking forward to seeing some potential chemistry with Sanchez and the likes of Pogba Lukaku and Martial.

Who played in place of Alexis in that win against Arsenal? That team was pretty much the perfect counter attacking team and we’ve somehow managed to improve it.

feck spurs feck wembley and feck Deli Alli

    7-0 win

Martial x2 Lukaku x2 Pogba Sanchez Rashford - Lingard with 4 of the assists. I'm feeling confident

    Lindelof. And Rojo for Jones.

Anyway, I'm off to prepare a stiff drink for the game. 11/11 in the lineups, my first of the season. Still unsure if that's too adventurous from Jose but feck it, we've got the attackers to scare any team now, we may as well give them a shot. Come on united

Finally 11/11 after so many near misses. Let's smash the spuds.
