I think it's a pen but VVD does pull his foot away as he sees Lamela and Lamela makes the most of it, so it is a bit unlucky. He doesn't really catch him in the end but the initial lift of his leg fecked him.

It might have been brave but it was clearly wrong - as Red Forever says, it was a clear dive (as was Kane's) and it will be interesting if in retrospect any action is taken because it is precisely for those situations the new rule was introduced.
We just let you keep coming back at us in the second half.
