My point, in case it's too hard to be understood, is simply asking how come a player so threatening can find himself in acres of spaces regularly during this game. I'm not even talking about his runs, all it takes is one switching long pass to find him basically.

He's an excellent player regardless. But I think Klopps brilliance as an attacking coach and his tactical set up is more helpful to Salah than poor defending. PL defences are really struggling to cope with his high intensity, high pace and high cohesion system.

A big variation, the problem starts when he has the ball and runs at defenders With Salah, he's always free to receive the ball in dangerous areas.

No they are not, they are the second best attacking outfit in the league, but not the second best team. For balance and squad quality in general I would have both United and Spurs above them, with Chelsea on about evens.

We could finish in 2nd and people would still say Liverpool are better than us.
The United v. Liverpool match looms large. Feels like a title-deciding match, which it's obviously not, but given that the title has been sewn up for months, it's basically the next best thing. I suppose if Chelsea can scratch a win tomorrow it will also have top 4 implications, but not optimistic about that.
