Premier League Gameweek 29 (3rd - 5th March 2018)

I've seen plays that were more exciting than that. Honest to God… plays!

They can win it at Spurs, can't they?
If we win all our matches up until the City game I think they can win the league against us. If we win tomorrow we go 16 points behind with 27 to play for. If we both win every game between now and then the we would be 16 points behind with 21 to play for. If they beat us it would be 19 points behind with 18 to play for.

The only way they can't win it against us at the Empty is if Liverpool win all their games including against us. I don't want that to happen. I would rather we need to get a result at the empty to stop them winning it against us.

They are quoting statistic records about completed passes for a fecking one nil win as if it proves how good they are! It does not reflect that Chelsea allowed them those passes … it was 1:0 at home (yawning emoji)
Chelsea didn't even bother to win the match, bent over and couldn't wait to get it over and done with

Bernie Silva speaks pretty fluent English for a Portueguese guy who is just in his first year here.
Just came to say this. Surprised he has barely any accent.
The guy was taking a degree in European Studies while in Benfica, so… Anyway, everybody in Portugal studies English in school several years. And he's from an middle/upper-class family.

Isn't it kind of weird, Chelsea, United, Arsenal, Spus and just about everybody allowed those passes bar Liverpool (who press probably more intensely than City). Maybe Chelsea weren't able to stop them like most others. Liverpool are the only side who stopped City playing there natural game this season and when they did they were exhausted and pretty much barely clung on to a 4-1 lead in the final 20 minutes.

He's been learning since young age due to our educational system. We adapt well to the english language. It's easy to find people speaking decent english in Lisbon for example.

Yeah, coz they're the first clubs to ever dominate a league.
The other clubs that have done it have generally been huge clubs though. They're two clubs with small fanbases who have won the lottery - City can't even fill their ground ffs.

City had a game vs Bristol a few days before that game vs Liverpool and it was at Anfield. Considering all that, City still scored 3 goals vs Liverpool.

Yeah, I mean its the only time we've not been allowed to play in a City way, even the other games we've lost v Wigan, Shaktar or the draws we were allowed to play as we do. Liverpool are the only team who completely knocked us out of rhythm, they did it first half too even though we were winning in the 5-0.

Tiredness from Bristol had to be a factor, how could it not be? Klopp obviously knew this and took advantage. I mean Liverpool put everything into that game and really wanted to beat yous.

As long as we win all our games running up to that match we miss a League game before we play them, due to the fact that we're obviously the better all-round team as we're still involved in the most important knockout competition in English football, they "can" potentially win the league against us but only if we don't come back and win our game in hand … therefore no parade of honour during that game and no presentation :nono:

Of course Liverpool could screw that up :wenger:

But they have to beat their nemesis EVERTON!

Oh yeah I just think Klopps record vs Pep has to say something too. He's the only manager who betters Pep in head to head record (that's not a once off). To me 6 wins in 11 games is no fluke even if alot of them were when Pep had already won the league or Super Cups etc... Especially when you consider the calibre of teams Klopp has done it with. The Liverpool result is not a once off.

3 points tomorrow night, and it's game over....A 10 point lead(including GD) is insurmountable,we can more or less clinch a top 4 slot by winning tomorrow night...

Why not ? I really want it to happen. Giving City a guard of honour will hurt the players and hopefully they can show that they have balls next season, and that they are not a collection of overpaid individuals with no desire nor ambition.

Reminds me of how I outplay these kids on FIFA online. They don't rage quit, they simply drop the controller and do something else.

Pisses me off.

Chelsea are in real danger to play in the Europa League with us next season. Think Conte can't wait to leave them and Abramovich to get rid of him.
