Only just seen this. “It will be a beautiful day”, my word. Though this comes from the man who wished people his ‘warmest condolences’ after the Las Vegas shootings, which happened to be the deadliest single-day mass shooting in modern US history.
And of course it doesn’t even make it into the top five strangest things he’s said this week.
The funeral service atleast by American tradition is a celebration of someone's life, especially if that someone lead a long life and died of natural causes. So beautiful is not inappropriate in context.
