Oh. . That's bad news. Why in the world would they be offered new deals?? Moreno not good enough as second choice, and Klavan not good enough as fourth..
They are cup finals, so yes. First was in first year of Guardiola and the second one in his second year.
But I value the final win against Bayern in the DFB-Pokal. 5-2. The loss of the Champions was by a detail but Bayern was better side in the second half. Dortmund dominated them in the first half though.
The final I see that he maybe could do something more was against Sevilla and Wolsfburg.

Would you prefer:
1. Liverpool to get knocked out tonight, but most likely to finish 4th
2. Liverpool go through to finals, possibly drop points in the league and finish 5th, but also a good chance of winning it for the 6th time
I'm mentally prepared myself to see them winning the CL, so it would be amazing if they drop to 5th + lose out in the final.

There are some rumors in german newspapers quoting bosnian and english sources that Buvac could be the man for Arsenal. Any Bosnian here who knows more ?
But how will you react if Liverpool drops out of fourth but wins CL, Arsenal winning Europa league and knocking fourth placed Chelsea out of the champions league?
Erm, option 1? Why would anyone choose the option where they are 90 minutes from CL trophy over them bottling 3 goals advantage against Roma (having a 5-0 lead in the first leg also). Would be enough material to laugh at them for a year.

Klavan has been solid, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with him at 4th/5th choice so don’t be ridiculous. But I do agree about neither should be getting new contracts, I’d be fine with seeing them both leave on frees at end of 2019.
Completely deserved, that's the type of players you need to tie in long-term.
Interesting debate on talksport last night between Jason Cundy and Darren Lewis (Daily Mirror journo- Liverpool fan) on whether or not fans of teams other than Liverpool should want them to win the champions league or not. Lewis, the numpty or course reckons everyone should want them to win but I wonder if he was of that opinion in 08 and 12.
I think we all wish the lad well and he makes a full recovery.
I hope Liverpool and Roma fans keep the game on the pitch tonight.
Honestly I don't expect non-Liverpool fans to want us to win it. It all depends on what you think of that particular club. Like personally I have no issue with Arsenal or Chelsea so I'd happily support them over another countries team. However I wouldn't want United to win it for obvious reasons. I wouldn't want City to win it as they have been absolute little cry babies since we battered them in the quarters and loads of their fans are trying to manufacture a rivalry with us and it's very pathetic. If anything I actually dislike them more than United at this point as least you guys actually earned your trophies. Tottenham I'm indifferent but I don't even think we need to worry about them much longer anyway.
It's all about your own personal views in my opinion and I have no issue in fans not wanting us to win it.

If Chelsea win their game in hand and beat you at Stamford Bridge, you will be level on points going in to the final game of the season.
There is a very real possibility that Liverpool will not only fail to win the CL, but miss out on top 4 as well.

I’d say it’s more likely that we finish in the top four than out of it.
Agreed, but looking at the position we were in only two weeks ago or so, we should've had it locked up by now. I don't like that it might depend on the final game of the season after comfortably being inside the top four for almost all season.

It is unlikely you'd drop points to Brighton, but it's far from impossible.
Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that Liverpool go through tonight, Chelsea win their game in hand and then beat you at the Bridge. Liverpool will find themselves in a precarious situation, level on points with 5th placed Chelsea going in to the final day of the season and playing in the CL final the following week. This scenario is a very real possibility given the inconsistent form Liverpool have shown in the league all season.
Now, it's a given that Real will rest their enitre first 11 in preperation for the final. That said, do Liverpool take the risk of playing a strengthened team against Brighton to ensure 4th place, or go for broke and rest their first team for the final the following week?
It'll be interesting to see how Klopp approaches the situation. He's taking a risk either way.
The final takes place 13 days after the Brighton game, so plenty of time for rest.

No way they’ll rest their entire 11. Not playing a competive game for three weeks is more detrimental than playing one two weeks in advance imo. They didn’t even do it last week with only a few days rest afterwards (iirc).
Not nervous about anything football related. Fan of the sport before the team, so I'm just hoping for good games, ideally where we win

I don’t think we’ll rest anyone against Brighton considering that the CL final (if we make it) is 13 days later.
I think Zidane will want his players at a good level of match sharpness going into the final so won’t rest anyone.
