Oh come on. It's a corner/ set piece. As if we never has more than a man in the box for set piece. As if all our opposition is poor at marking in set piece, and as if Young had been consistently crossing like that...
 
Here's where the mental aspect kicks in. Can England just pick up where they left off, or do they struggle a bit
 
Does taking chances with the ball and giving it away really make Maguire a ‘ball playing’ centre back?

They did and the onfield decsion was confirmed almost instantly.
 
There is a massive gap between the attacking half and the three defenders with only Henderson trying to fall back in the gap.

They need either Ali or Jesse to fall back to pick up the ball.
 
There was no need to give that penalty from a player who should never really be in a CB role.
 
Slapping a guy in the face is not a penalty according to some on here :lol:
 
Should have been a red for Walker. Is it me or is Ashely Young the most unlikeable scrote. Something about him that's just so annoying.
 
Observations:

Maguire is actually very poor. I take back what I said before.

Pickford should of saved the pen.

Our finishing is horrendous.

Sterling is a one trick pony and vastly over rated.
 
It's just stupid from Walker to be fair.

The cross was going to nobody, his hand has nothing to search in his face.
