That kinda stuff makes me wonder if it hasn’t already started developing when we’re in high school.

I had my first diagnosed concussion in when I was 15... and back then you needed to be knocked silly or knocked out to be evaluated for concussion. With all the stuff they say are concussion symptoms now, like ringing ears and stars in your vision... I don’t know how many I had before I was done playing in high school. I just know things like that happened regularly.

I’m certain the process probably begins in high school. Especially since st that point the skull is still developing. Heck, many parts of the body are still developing.
 
The 1-10 clips of the NFL Top 100 has gotten me proper excited for the start of the new season :drool: Hopefully most of the stars will stay healthy this season.
 
Winston's three game suspension has been confirmed and he's released a statement apologising for the position he "put the driver in". Absurd that he only gets three games for grabbing a woman's crotch frankly rather than 6+.

Especially absurd considering if he were 35 and white we’d appoint him to run the country.

In all seriousness though, Winston has a history of sheer stupidity dating back to his days at FSU. The dude is an idiot.

Yeah, between this, the stealing, the two previous accusations of rape and the telling young girls to stay silent he's provided a lot of evidence that he's an utter moron. Oh and that eating a W thing, I know that is minor in comparison but still.

Apparently the "apology" he put out was part of a deal to get a smaller ban. Seems stupid that he basically just had to put out a "sorry you felt that way" level apology and they remove three games from the ban.
 
I must admit based on Hard Knocks last season or the season before, he isn’t come across as such a dick. Clearly he is, but the programme portrayed him so differently. Obviously they weren’t gonna make him look like a dick, but still.
 
Gutted that he's not going to be able to play again, been responsible for some of my favourite moments. His pick 6 against Carolina was sublime, the timing to get to the ball was brilliant. That, him jumping over everyone to try and block the field goals in the same game and the time he broke Vernon Davis... Going to miss him a lot. Even though it screws us, glad he got that new contract. Just Earl Thomas left from the LoB now and it's unsure if he'll play for us again.
 
Looks like Lesean McCoy might not play again either. Been accused of domestic abuse, child abuse, animal abuse and steroid abuse, complete with photos of the alleged domestic abuse outcome which I won't post here.

Whether he did all that shit or not, he’s getting cut. Owners only need half an excuse to terminate your ass.

He's denied even seeing the people involved in months, they have alleged it happened yesterday. Police should be able to prove where he was pretty easily, so should have answers soon.

Just to top it off, Brandon Browner has been charged with attempted murder. I assume the NFL PR people are suicidal right now.

Statistics are a very good indicator of how good players are/were. More so in the NFL than in footy.
 
Eli ist terribly overrated. The only QB in the league coming close to him in terms of being overrated is Rivers.

If Rivers was nearly as good as people keep suggesting, he'd make the playoffs every now and then. He crumbles in tight games. Don't know how often he gets overly aggressive in decisive situations and starts overthrowing his receivers. He's not clutch at all. Same as Stafford.

Five times in 14 seasons if I'm right. Posting an impressive 4-5 record in the playoffs, throwing only 11 TD's in those games, against 9 INT'S. The guy hasn't won more than 9 games since 2009.
That's nowhere near being elite or anything like that. At least not to me.
