Muller has not been productive for awhile yet he was to start 2 games. Now him being dropped Ozil being put back despite he was rightly dropped for the second game. Draxler being Draxler. Brandt should have given more playing time.
Low stuck with back 4 until dire moment of the game when back 5 should be better for them which give Kimmich more license to attack with more cover at the back for him. Brandt as attacking wing back is more positive than with this (said above) tinkering of attackers

Predictable. Ozil was far from the worst player on the pitch. He created probably the two best chances for Germany, when the game was still in the balance, which Werner and Hummels fluffed.

What surprised me is how Koreans managed not to foul opponents anywhere near their box. That was defensive masterpiece and in the second half they were dangerous on the counter, too. Amazing effort, considering that they had only pride to play for.

I agree. Croatia is sneaky good, but Belgium and England have both been good enough to be in the conversation. The knockout round should be immense.
We didn't though. Korea scored at the end when we were desperate for a goal. We weren't good enough to get out of this group, but we we didn't take 'a hell of a beating' against any of the 3 teams. We were pedestrian and had no creativity going forward, no chances created. We didn't loose because our opposition was great, we lost because we were poor.
Edit: Credit to Mexico and Korea though, they worked their socks off and deserved their wins.
