West Germany, Denmark were both through. Played each other last game in the group.
The winners of the group were to play Spain then likely Belgium (one of the best teams in Europe then also) or a great USSR team.....it turned out to be Spain/Belgium.
The Danes beat the Germans 2-0.
Danes then lost 5-1 to Spain.
Germany, on the other hand, played Morocco & Mexico to reach the SF.
Was always convinced the Germans threw that Danish match.

It seemed like a decent match for the first 25 minutes or so. Got very boring later on in the half though.
