Day 15: Japan vs Poland, Senegal vs Colombia, England vs Belgium, Panama vs Tunisia

Disappointing performance, but it doesn't make a difference. I'd rather gone through on top, but is what it is. Colombia will be tricky, but hopefully we can do them over!

Wouldn't be a surprise would it. Pickford is a disaster waiting to happen.
Yep he’s cack. So is 3/4 of this squad to be fair, and most of this team today. Dier is awful. Only saving grace is that England have gone a prettt dynamic attack and will cause any team problems.

Poor management that. All the good feeling and momentum has gone from last game and once again, England have failed to beat a team that is any good.

And, normal service has resumed.England really are a sack of cr*p lol. Fellaini, Rashford and Jones the three worst players on the pitch. My god.

Bit of a snore fest. Why was Alexander Arnold taking free kicks over Rashford :wenger:. I know he's not that good at them but still.

Does really England think facing Colombia is the easiest way to reach the semifinals? They are gonna pay for it against a Colombia who is on their way up atm.

Heartbreaking for Senegal to go out in this way :(

Completely agree. Poor show in that game, nothing like going into the next game with a fake sense of achievement. The mentality of going for the easy route to the final is extremely dangerous, rather than the confident attitude in every game. No sense of urgency at all in the closing minutes, passing around back to the keeper instead of lumping it forward etc. I’m disappointed in them.

Everyone is so convinced Brazil will beat Mexico.

 You're just trying to get a dig in, you clearly haven't watched the match without bias if you think that.

Another loss on ITV btw.

Are they or BBC showing the Colombia game?

A bunch of cowards, have no moral authority to go to next round. Play a weak team and then bring on the likes of Welbeck to get the 2nd place and easy path to semis. bite

Huge error by Southgate, in my opinion. You cannot think too far ahead in the worldcup. More important is maintaining momentum. England will be made to suffer by Colombia, especially if James Rodriguez is fit for the game. I think they will lose.

We have become the only African/Asian team to not win even a single point in the tournament, get in! Great achievement.

Could be tricky with tons of Colombia fans, James if fit and Falcao Cuadrado.

Our B team got outplayed by the Belgium B team

It means nothing. Neither team wanted to win, both rested most of their first team, it was fairly even, non-committed, settled by a lovely goal. If we beat Colombia the good feeling is back again. It’s probably a good thing that expectations are lowered after everyone thought we’d win the cup based on thrashing freaking Panama.

Got a bit to say to the Argentians or French or Danish then?

Colombia will be pretty interesting match up for England.

We've seen before players who didn't perform in England scoring important goals v England (Postiga in 2004) so I'd imagine Falcao and Cuadrado will be bang up for this. Aswell as technique they have plenty of physical and quick players especially at the back with Davidson Sanchez and Mina.

They've been good on set pieces in this world cup aswell. Get the feeling this sort of match up could be decided in how much part James plays.

Fellaini was one of the best performers on the pitch, if not motm. I realise it doesn' suit the agenda though
