Having a Martial on the bench would come in a bit handy right about now.

Both sides have clear tactics, Argentina’s is actually very smart. France don’t play with a left winger, Matuidi is staying more central so he can double up on messi with Kante and Hernandez isn’t that strong a player. Argentina are keeping the ball on that side, creating overloads and getting joy the problem is that Mercado and pavon are average players. A top tier right back/Right wing combo would be dismantling the left side of this France team.

France looking to use their pace, nothing fancy about it, draw the defenders up the pitch then get in behind.

I disagree, I think France should be up 2:0, Argentina is not dangerous, except when you leave 10m to Di Maria... and when you have a stupid ball like that.
 
If it wasn't a defender I'd call that a world class finish

Such a wierd game. France have to wake up otherwise they're going home.

Banega out of quarter final aswell so Argentina will struggle to put midfield out next game.
