Easy group where they played and lost to second string Belgium team (playing second string themselves). After that it's all shit, found out today. They are bottlers

Because against quality opponents he made the mistake that put England out. Him being tired mentally and physically and not playing in his natural position was a definite factor in him making the mistake.

The media from every country is generally made up of tossers who are completely unrepresentative of the country they live in.
The entirety of Europe was attempting to colonise the globe, why would you hold that against England but not France, Belgium, Spain or Germany? Regardless, it's more than a tad silly to dislike the England football team because their ancestors did evil things, the same level of stupidity as English fans who hate Germany because of the Second World War. People aren't responsible for the crimes and actions of those who came before them. Colonialism was horrible, wrong and deservedly is seen as such, but it shouldn't be held against English people living in 2018, unless they support it.
The English are bitter at France for similar reasons you've just expressed .. past conflicts in history. Again it's stupid and irrational, nothing wrong with friendly rivalry between nations in sport but disliking people from a certain nation based on historical events before they were even born is beyond unfair.
Well, as an England fan I've enjoyed these past few weeks and I'm grateful to have been given some hope for once. Tonight we got beaten by a better team but it was still a compelling match right to the end. Nothing to be upset about really.
Can't really see why anyone would give much of a toss about random fans from other nations trying to get a rise either. This time round we've had a lot more fun than most of 'em and one night of boo-hoo doesn't erase the last few weeks. This was a good world cup and England gave their fans some good memories.

If by that you mean having the most successful campaign in at least 28 years (win against Belgium and the number increases to 52 years, so more than half a century), then I guess that Southgate's decision has been more than justified.

The English fans on here have been in meltdown on here all week even though they could have reached the WC Final. I think they knew they were out as they were finally facing a real team and not an easy one. Now though, the meltdowns have gone full on epic

I'd say 80-90% of non-english supporters, are so because their family already did. Least that's my case. I didn't get a fecking choice in the matter.
