Great to see him well enough to make this video. And here's hoping he continues to make great progress in his recovery. This man is my hero, that evening when the news came out was very disturbing. It's a relief to even see this.
I know this will sound wanky and over-sentimental, but Fergie really does look like my late father. The only thing different is the accent, my dad was a Dubliner. So whenever I see or hear him, I get this strange morphing process in my head. It's quite disconcerting!

I do the exact same thing. My dad was also a Dubliner... wait a second, perhaps we're related...! He looks healthy but its the first time i see him truly looks like at his age. God bless you Sir.

What an incredible man. Hes like a second father to people he has never met and the very presence of him in a short video somehow reaches to the centre of the emotions of people all over the world, as if we all share some sort of combined reverence and protection of him. It looks as though he wont make august 10th and the fact that i could so selfishly even think of that is a measure of how much i think of him. That his presence in the stadium on opening day would be enough to give the fans and current team a springboard to not look back for a whole season.
