At least the gooners showed some fight. Under Wenger this would have been over in the first half
Wait what. Is that true? Was he not punished? Each time I see Alonso play or score I remember how life is unjust. he killed someone because of drunk driving and he's still getting to do what he likes and get paid millions for it.
I think that he's one of the players I despise the most.
Cnut.
Do you actually think he's defensively worse than Young or Shaw though? Not much in it for me
It's a little early to call who is better, but indeed, we'll see. You mentioned Sarri as a reason. For all we know his football might not work for Chelsea. It's just a little early to call.Well 4 and 2 seasons ago they won the title, last season we finished ahead of them but they beat us in the fa cup final, and then on paper they have a better side then we do. Obviously takes a bit to adapt, not to mention having players like Hazard and Kavacic on the bench... and I doubt it'll take him long to realize David Luiz is a joke. Anyway, we'll see. Think their attack will be good enough in the long run this season to keep them up there.
Nah, he looks like Robert Tepper.Emery looks like a Holywood version of Gary Neville
Sideshow Bob and Torriera in midfield next week surely. At least the gooners showed some fight. Under Wenger this would have been over in the first half
There's nothing to be envious of when it comes to the defence of either team out there. Passing out from the back hasn't been making Arsenal a better team in either game they've played. Chelsea is debatable. What has being able to pass the ball out from the back got to do with defensive ability and how are they dependent on each other
That was the least important thingHe hasn't got dreadlocks - his hair is just curly
Same, he is a cnut.

On 2 May 2011, Alonso was arrested following his involvement in a car accident in Madrid. He was the driver of a car that collided with a wall, killing one of the passengers, a 19-year-old woman, having been driving at 112.8 km/h (70 mph) in wet conditions in a 50 km/h (30 mph) zone, with a blood alcohol level of 0.93 mg per millilitre of blood.[50][51] He faced 21 months in prison when sentenced in February 2016, but his punishment was changed to a €61,000 fine and a driving ban of three years and four months, which had already been spent.[52]
Shambles. Unprofessionnal stuffThe defensive effort from bellerin and mkhitaryan there was amazing
What??Each time I see Alonso play or score I remember how life is unjust. he killed someone because of drunk driving and he's still getting to do what he likes and gets paid millions for it while the 20 years old women killed because of him rots in the ground.

Ive nothing against him he is a useful utility player but as was said above he isnt that good as a fullback
He's crap. Defensively he leaves so much space in behind to attack, he's good going forward and can take a freekick, but he's not a good fullback at all.
See above.What??
It is easy. You must have defenders who can play with the ball. We have... mike and phil who can't play with ball.
With bailly and lindelof it will be better
Can't stand watching him play. Each time I see Alonso play or score I remember how life is unjust. he killed someone because of drunk driving and he's still getting to do what he likes and gets paid millions for it while the 20 years old women killed because of him rots in the ground.

Neither team is great. We shouldn't be scared of either.
