Premier League Gameweek 2 fixtures (18th - 20th August 2018)

Each time I see Alonso play or score I remember how life is unjust. he killed someone because of drunk driving and he's still getting to do what he likes and get paid millions for it.
I think that he's one of the players I despise the most.

Cnut.
Wait what. Is that true? Was he not punished?

Well 4 and 2 seasons ago they won the title, last season we finished ahead of them but they beat us in the fa cup final, and then on paper they have a better side then we do. Obviously takes a bit to adapt, not to mention having players like Hazard and Kavacic on the bench... and I doubt it'll take him long to realize David Luiz is a joke. Anyway, we'll see. Think their attack will be good enough in the long run this season to keep them up there.
It's a little early to call who is better, but indeed, we'll see. You mentioned Sarri as a reason. For all we know his football might not work for Chelsea. It's just a little early to call.

What has being able to pass the ball out from the back got to do with defensive ability and how are they dependent on each other
There's nothing to be envious of when it comes to the defence of either team out there. Passing out from the back hasn't been making Arsenal a better team in either game they've played. Chelsea is debatable.

Arsenal shouldn't missed all those chances...

Think a draw would have been a fair result here.

Here you go

On 2 May 2011, Alonso was arrested following his involvement in a car accident in Madrid. He was the driver of a car that collided with a wall, killing one of the passengers, a 19-year-old woman, having been driving at 112.8 km/h (70 mph) in wet conditions in a 50 km/h (30 mph) zone, with a blood alcohol level of 0.93 mg per millilitre of blood.[50][51] He faced 21 months in prison when sentenced in February 2016, but his punishment was changed to a €61,000 fine and a driving ban of three years and four months, which had already been spent.[52]

What??

Ive nothing against him he is a useful utility player but as was said above he isnt that good as a fullback

He's crap. Defensively he leaves so much space in behind to attack, he's good going forward and can take a freekick, but he's not a good fullback at all.

That's because he's not a fullback. He made his name is Serie A playing as a LM/LW mostly for Fiorentina and Conte bought him specifically to play as a wing back with 3 CBs. At which he excels. He's the best in the league in that role.

It is easy. You must have defenders who can play with the ball. We have... mike and phil who can't play with ball.
With bailly and lindelof it will be better

Yeah we were shit at it against Leicester last week with those two, and passing out from the back is not totally dependent on your two CB's, its the whole defence plus midfield. It's a team thing

Can't stand watching him play.

Conclusions from this game; Bellerin is still defensively one of the worst fullbacks in the PL and refs still fall for Hazard's diving

About 70% of Arsenal attacks have come from clipping a ball over Alonso's head for Aubameyang/Mikitaryan/Lacazette to chase. Really good footballer, not much of a defender.

The limit in Spain is. 0.5 mg.

That's it Chelsea win

I'm not talking about their defence, they're both all over the place. I mean passing the ball out and getting the ball out to your forwards properly. It has nothing to do with defensive ability
