Yeah, Logan had the reach/power which allowed him to dominate the early rounds, so if they fight again I imagine whoever is training him will focus heavily on cardio. If he can sort that out and keep it up for six rounds he'll easily dominate the rematch, if I was KSI I wouldn't want it, Logan clearly has a higher ceiling.

The rematch was already agreed before hand in paperwork regardless of the result. The result was not staged, even though it’s easy to paint that narrative due to the whole storyline.

They're popular entertainers .. if a couple of big celebrities decided to fight, that would be big news too. I think talentless is harsh, they're both actually good content creators (though massive nobheads) who built themselves up so I have respect for that. They also both put in a ton of work to train, and both are actually good athletes. Logan was a state level wrestler and KSI is being trained by an Olympic medalist and has clearly come on a long way, they're both decent amateur level boxers. I don't really see the harm in it tbh, entertainment doesn't always have to be high-brow. Some of the hype around it/the nonsense at weigh in's etc is pure cringe, but they mostly have quite young audiences, so..
The other stuff though, yeaaahh.... strange times.

Nah, draw was a fair result. When Logan sat behind his jab in the first 2 rounds and only fired the right at certain times he looked comfortably the better boxer. KSI dragged him into a fight and he abandoned his jab for some reason, probably drove his corner fecking mad in the process. Agree that he’ll win the rematch
Fair, probably just swung towards KSI edging it because he won the final round, but if you assess them all then I can definitely see why it was a draw.
In terms of a rematch .. KSI has to be worried. Giving Logan months more to catch up and reach a good cardio level could be really bad for him, I mean he must know that he's got more in terms of athleticism. Like you say, that reach was killing him in the early rounds, I feel like he abandoned it purely because he got tired and therefore sloppy? You could see that he was really suffering late on.
Yeah that's the first thing I thought of when the first words out of KSI's mouth after were "I think we need a rematch!".

Boxing is just a sport, anybody can learn a sport given enough time. These guys trained with pros/ex pros for months. Nobody is claiming it is better, or even close to a proper professional sporting event.
These guys trained well and put on a decent amateur boxing match. Whats wrong with that honestly? It's just gimmicky fun, obviously not comparable to professionals.
This event will likely get plenty of kids interested in the sport and will inspire people. KSI had no athletic history yet within months has got himself in shape and is able to compete with a guy significantly larger/more athletically gifted than him?
I think it's impressive. It's probably pretty inspiring for a lot of kids.
It wasn't staged. Both were clearly giving it all to win and KSI in the final round was going for the KO. Both have huge egos and absolutely wanted the victory, the rematch would have happened regardless.
Was just an even boxing match.

Ok I watched this and I did find it entertaining but I can’t believe people can’t see this match was rigged just so they can do a rematch for even more money. If they were donating proceeds to a charity then fair enough but they just want to line their pockets more.

I think they were both really tired by the end, perhaps a KO wasn't possible but certainly I think a TKO/stoppage was. Logan was struggling in the later rounds.
The agreement before the fight was one match in the UK and one in the US. If KSI won there still would have been a rematch in the US so why would they need to rig it?

The rematch was ALWAYS going to happen, regardless of the result. Why go to the trouble of making sure it's a draw (a very difficult result to make happen without it looking very dodgy) when they both knew that a rematch was on the cards regardless? These guys have huge egos, they've been training for months with professionals who aren't about to ruin their name by getting involved in staged fights. That was a genuine fight, you could see both were clearly getting exhausted and that KSI could smell blood towards the end. I didn't see anything staged about it, aside from some of the drama out of the ring.
Like I said, the 'rematch for more money' argument isn't valid because they both said they would rematch regardless in LA. They both obviously are looking at the money spin angle, but that doesn't mean either of them (who have huge fecking egos) were about to deliberately draw.

The site going down stuff is a disgrace, and people deserve their money back if it happens. That doesn't mean the fight was rigged, there's no reason for either party to agree to that, it would be much better for their careers if they won the fight.

On the site been down thing If these 2 had anything about them and did actually care about their fan base then they would at least offer half price on the next fight, I really can’t see how they would offer refunds as thousands were affected and there is no way to prove it for the people that were. It would certainly suck if you’d paid for it and couldn’t get it though especially since it was being streamed on twitch anyway for free.

I don't think they'll make as much next time, though probably still a decent amount. People are pretty annoyed that it ended up in a draw. They have huge fanbases so will always be a draw, but I do think that they're risking people just getting tired of it, they'll want something new.
