Played very well after a dreadful start. Defensively, both in the back 4 and in midfield they started as if in a coma. Some lovely moments of link up play and creativity there after. Small sample size but I don't think we can play that type of football with big lumps like Lukaku and Fellaini slowing everything down.

Herrera made a real impact on the game.

Made it harder than it needed to be, but that seems to be what this team does.

Having Martial and Rashford on the scoresheet together is nice to see.

Glad to see the team show resiliency and battle back for the win.

Good comeback again but it shouldn’t keep taking the other team to score and us to equalise for us to wake up

Whew. This had a draw or a loss written all over it after so many chances missed.

Can't believe Rashford was that calm for the goal, I'd thought he'd try and shoot as soon as possible.
Great second half performance. Pogba was very good.

A game of two halves. We were the much better side in the second half and edged it overall. Quite a lot of chances for both teams, so wonder what the xG for both teams was.

Just a shame, we can't bring the same kind of intensity and quality of our play before going behind, but we're clearly capable.

Performances need to get much better, but we deserved the win.

Good win in the end. One of these days we'll decide to start games the way we play in 2nd halves after shite first halves. Too often the approach at the start of games is awful, and then we go positive and play on the front foot and just look like a much better team all around.

Anyway, Pogba I thought was excellent. Martial our main attacker as always. Sanchez did well too I thought, should've stayed on. Rashford had a huge impact on our play when he came on, even though he missed the chance. Got the goal in the end too. Herrera also excellent. Needs to start the next 2 as he usually steps up in big games too.

Similar to last week's performance, made it more difficult than it should have been. Created plenty in the second half to score 2 or 3 more. Pogba and Alexis stood out for me today.

It's better without Rom as an attacking force.

Another good 3 points. Delighted with that but we are shocking in defence and matic needs to be dropped.
Sanchez had one of his better games and was unfortunate to be subbed. Herrera really changed the game.

Great and super important win. Matic is a coaster, we have to replace him.

Thought Matic was a great signing and he looked good when he first came but then it’s been a steady decline. As much as I like him I agree with you. Maybe Pogba, Fred and Herrera. But no way Mou will sit Matic.

Dismal start but we were the better team for 60 mins and deserve the win.
Ander needs to start ahead of Matic for me. It's also ridiculous that as soon as VNL became solid, Smalling lost his shit

The result is always the most important thing in any match but that first half an hour performance was just horrendous.
Play like that against Juve or City and they'd be completely out of sight.
Happy with the win of course but dear god we are a shadow of a decent football side.

We make it hard for ourselves. With the quality we have we'll always score goals but I don't understand the slow starts. Why can we not attack from minute 1? Bournemouth were too comfortable and it's our individual quality that makes the difference. Sanchez and Martial for the first goal and Pogba, Rashford for the second goal.
We're not a good football team. Just have some good players.

Not many have said it but Ake was at fault for Hashford's goal. Totally misjudged his header.

So happy that the two young boys scored. Especially happy for Rash because hopefully that gives him some confidence.

First 30 mins or so in the first half we were so shit. Second half good. Still furious about the missed chances. Got to be more clinical.

Matic needs to go on holiday.

Awful first 30 minutes. Got a bit better after that and we had a great 20-25 minutes in the second half - ironically, we scored the winner when the game fizzled out a bit. Important win.

We created a lot of chances which was great to see. We are much better going forward without Lukaku. Herrera injected a lot of energy.

Defending is still a mess and Matic looks awful.

Another good outing for Martial and it is good to see we are able to keep our spirits up even when trailing. Smalling is off-colour now, and defense remains a concern.

Some positives in recent times that we dominated the second half of the game against Chelsea and had an attacking mindset for this game. Negative being, despite the positive mindset, the attacking still needs better coaching and fine-tuning.

Hopefully, Arsenal thump Liverpool and we would only be behind Liverpool by 6 points. I don't want Liverpool's run to continue just to close the gap on fecking Arsenal.

Game planned out pretty much as I thought it would. We deserved it on the whole. Even in the first half we missed a big chance with Fred and another good one from Mata. Second half Begovic made a string of great saves. And we had two off the line.

Really good win that was. Bournemouth are a good team and that was a difficult game.

Big win. We were shocking in the first 30min but we stuck in there and got back in the game. 2nd half was much better, thought we were going to regret the missed chances but we got a deserved second goal.

Good win, and deserved. Best attacking I’ve seen all season tbh that second half from an incisiveness and quality standpoint, just couldn’t put anything away. Our entire left side was brilliant (Pogba, Shaw, Tony) and I thought Sanchez actually looked alright up top. Would like to continue with him there. Matic, Smalling, and Young left a lot to be desired for me. Also thought it was harsh on Fred to be removed so early, he was the only decent player our first 30 min.

Shaw's miss was the worst. He had so much time and picked the worst option - straight at the keeper.

Excellent second half, all over them, just didn’t put our chances away. Sick of the sight of Matic, he should’ve been off for Herrera and caused so many nervy moments at the back. Rashford took his goal insanely well, Sanchez and Martial were both very good today. Herrera had a great game when he came on, despite what some seem to have thought I think Fred played well today and he should’ve been kept on.

Somehow Ake won man of the match, he had two brilliant moments but was garbage other than that. Begovic was their best player, we could easily have had 4 or 5, Sanchez was wrongly called offside and the ref was giving the Bournemouth plenty.

Deserved it overall. Would have been as gutting as the draw at Chelsea to not win that with the chances we created.

I just wish we could start playing better in first halves, because teams will put us to bed sooner or later and give us no chance of coming back.

Since we scored we played great. Just great. Quick, direct, lots of chances. We must settle this shit first halfs asap. I don't know why we start so slow.
Pogba again beast. Alexis deserved playing on no9 position and Herrera must play. Instead of Fred or Matic but he must play. Young and Lindelof good game in defence, shaw and Smalling solid but must do better.

Horrific first half, very good second. When Pogba is bad, United are bad. When Pogba is good, United are good. Everything we do runs through him. Young was exceptional today. Martial v good too.

If these intangibles were easy, everyone would start and finish strong. All we can do is keep drilling the importance of a fast start into the players.

Big win and a much needed 3 points. Watching Matic on the pitch reminds me of the scene in Office Space..."What exactly do you do here?"

Very good performance after the first 30mins. It’s telling that we are able to beat teams in only 60mins of play, the quality is there. Need to start games quicker and it should help push us up the table.

Buzzin after that winner :D
