For the first time in ages, feels like the Caf is on the same page and the negativity has gone. Good to the have some postivity for a change. Till we lose again.

Agreed. It’s good to not feel like we’re in a constant civil war anymore. Ironically the only place where there is still conflict are the threads popping up still trying to exonerate Mourinho’s time here

Other than that, it’s good to see positivity around the place again. A fractured fan base isn’t fun. Here’s hoping that the match against Cardiff makes things even better

Apart from the anti-Pogba brigade, does feel like this place is a bit more united again, won’t last obviously!

Even when we end up arguing about stuff again, it won’t ever be as bad as it was under Mourinho. It wasn’t even as bad under Moyes or Vangle, simply because they weren’t divisive characters by nature.

I can 100% guarantee we won’t be “United again” in March. When we are out of every competition and sitting exactly where we are now in the leage table.

The appointment of Solskjaer is an extremely poor decisions. It is an embarrassment and we are an absolute laughing stock to the rest of the PL.

Agreed, let's hope this thread ages well!
It's been a difficult time for us these past few months, so it will be nice to potentially be able to read the forum without pointless bickering.

7 minutes.

Think there are a lot of people in the media too saying that the players that had the biggest excuses before need to step up now and justify their wage with excuses gone. Think that is driving a lot of the 'anti pogba' sentiment, the hope that the players will play for this manager and not hide behind excuses any more and be happy finishing 6th or 7th without a fight. Pogba obviously just one of the bigger culprits but not alone - I always wonder about smalling, something about his reaction around moyes bothered me. Presume Sanchez will start on sat and he has zero excuses, he has mostly gotten away with it so far because the narrative is his body quit at 29 but he's another one that should be under pressure now. I think all fans should be behind this view point personally.

I’m not ‘anti-Pogba’ but I’ve been extremely critical of him.

However, it’s a clean slate for everyone now. Pogba, Lingard, Lukaku etc. Let’s give them all a chance now.

I’m excited about Utd again.

Another pretend United fan.

If you are still negative after today then i don't think football, never mind United, is for you.

He's a fecking caretaker until we get Poch.

We have our club back. Feels like old times. Can't wait for Saturday :devil::devil::devil::devil:

It's not a narrative imo. He looks slow as feck these days.

The feel-good factor in this thread is off the chain.

Let us drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die.

The only people not on board yet are the Pogba haters but if he can shut them up over the next coming weeks and we start playing some good football then we will have our United back . Let's do this.

That's the spirit, buddy.

We will probably find out the rest of the season if he has anything left. It would be the all time steepest decline for a 29 year old that I recall, far steeper than rooney. he would have gone from scoring 30 or 40 goals at age 28 to just being finished at 29 (based on his current form which you are saying is his true form).

Fecking hell, give up football mate and get into the darts or something.

This post is utter drivel and I’m annoyed with myself for replying to it.

The optimism is off the scale right now. The thought that we will no longer see that egotistic miserable git in the dug out anymore is such a relief.
Now we have a red through and through doing his best to make us play the United way.

I've been so miserable with things around the club. But even I feel buoyed. Bore off those dismissing the Ole appointment. He's just an interim ffs

As an opposition fan I think it's a really good appointment.

Your club needed a lift, so who better to bring in than a club legend who understands the fans? It's only on an interim basis so even if he does poorly it's no disaster. You were hardly going to bring in a world class name as a caretaker manager, so this is the best pathway you could go down I feel. It's a fantastic move by the board to bring a happy mood back to the club, a guy who represents better times and genuinely seems an optimistic, happy kind of guy .. the total opposite of Mourinho.

Means you don't have to rush a top appointment and can take your time assessing your options for next season. I don't think the rest of the league are laughing at all, most are disappointed you finally pulled the trigger on Mourinho.

Quit trying to start another civil war. Some people rate him. Some don't. Get over it.

I doubt anyone "hates" Pogba. I know I don't. I am however disappointed with him though because I expected a lot more.

That said I'm always positive about United. So here's to all you miserable gits cheering up again! Were going on a 33 game winning streak!!

Doesn't look true considering these posts labeling some fans "Pogba haters" and "Anti-Pogba" in this thread. Seems if you don't have the same opinion on a player then you're either a "hater" or "fanboy" whatever your stance is. Does that look like a united fan base ?

He could also have shut us up by perfomering any other time in the his past few games. “Pogba haters” yeah, can’t be that we have a point. No, we’re all just racist or Jose lovers or whatever other shit gets made up to shut down the conversation.

I mean ffs, in a thread called “united again” it took one fecking post to change it to “united again except for those pricks that don’t agree with me about Paul boy toy pogba”. Can’t just say “yeah, good times ahead”. No, need to moan at something.

I think most agree that OGS is not the instant and only answer to all our problems but it feels like a huge black cloud has been lifted over the club and all supporters.

Feels like Christmas Eve.

When the glazers sell up it will feel like Christmas Day.

It was literally the first reply on this thread of all threads that drew lines amongst fans

You can't make it up.

None of us know at this point how this will all turn out. Success or not, we now have a 100% utd man at the helm and at the very least things will be different.

I can’t wait for the next match, I’m going to try and keep my expectations realistic but ... good times!

You don’t deserve to support this club.
