And zidane's did at Real? Sometimes you don't need to have a glittering cv to get the job. Our last two managers before ole had a glittering cv but never got the club.
For futute manager, you could easily throw eddie b in the hat with Poch as neither have won anything but both play attacking nice football and promote youth - all what we're about.
I think ole's tactics need to be looked and how he adjusts the team when the opposing manager has found a way to stop our original plan. Yes we won the match, yes we were a bit lucky but so was fergie at times so not holding that against him but still not convinced yet either though
Zidane had been at the club for years prior to his appointment but that said, I wouldn't make any reference to best practice with Real and management anymore than I would about Chelsea. This isn't a anti Ole thing, I'm just not blindly caught up in the emotion of it following the maddest of the manager before it.
