Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

It was the other half. A whole phase of play happened after it.. How the feck is this stopping the game? VAR is a joke.

Crazy to do VAR for calls like this yet they often ignore a lot of things. I understand they might want to look for offsides, but not if the ball is out 1 minute back in time in a teams own half.

"You can clearly see grass there"

Does Martin Tyler realise that the ball's a sphere?

I thought the ball was out but the correct decision has been made as was not a clear view.

Yes goal given!

This has to be one of Ajax greatest feats surely.

That must have been the toughest call in all the time VAR has been used, honestly I'm not sure after the replays from various angles. Be surprised if Real turn this around, Ramos must be feeling more than a bit stupid just now :nervous:

Its amazing they even considered it for Var. It was so close and theee is no sideline technology.

I was sure they would cancel it because its madrid. But i guess Brych wants to keep imporrant matches.

There's no way you could've ruled that out. It's not a clear error and it wasn't clear cut.

These idiot commentators can’t seem to understand how a ball being off the ground can be in front of the line and still show grass.

Space between ball and line doesnt matter.. All of the ball has to be over all of the line.
The ball doesnt have to be touching the line.

The first angle isnt definitive.
What the feck are the commentators on about?
