Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

I hope our boys put on a similar performance tomorrow
Wishful thinking. We have 5 or 6 starters missing, I highly doubt we'd even come close but i'd love to see their chairman's face if they bottle this.

Tadic must be having one of his best ever games, if not the best, but as I type that, Real have scored.
Like a few others in the thread, I picked the wrong game tonight, sticking with this game now.

It's a pity Ramos isn't playing because he'd have had a red card shortly after the third.

If things had gone wrong for Spurs tonight, the accusations would have been they bottled it. As it is, Dortmund are the ones bottling it.

Either way, one of the two teams were going to bottle it tonight. Redcafe logic at it's finest.

They're both bottlers, just not to the same extent. Dortmund are clearly the bigger bottlers of the two.

Bottle logic.

It's even better if it was. The number of times Real have benefitted from refereeing decisions in the CL has been nothing short of embarrassing. Let them get a taste of their own medicine.
Agreed, as soon as they went to VAR I thought 'oh here we go again'

Was it that he scores incredible disallowed goals?

Mane and Lallana did alright.

Anyway, nevermind. You're Serbian. Makes sense now (that was an incredible finish btw)
*Screws up face* Really? I’d have forgiven you with Shaw, but Lallana? Nah.

Good to see Real reverting back to pre-Ronaldo era immediately after his departure.
It’s mental how much difference he makes to whatever team he’s in. Taking United to the champions league, then Real, while both teams lag without him. The most impactful player I’ve ever seen.

What does the rule say? Because the ball was self-evidently over the line, but what part of the ball counts? Is it the widest point of the sphere or the part that's actually on the ground? The angle from inside the pitch clearly shows grass between the ball and the line, so the only way it isn't out is if you view it directly from above when the full circumference might not have crossed over entirely. I'm not sure which it is.

Barca are the big favourites for this competition. Should really ought to win it from this position.

Spain to win 6 in a row, PL to go another season without any European trophies.

After watching this game I am really starting to think the Juve tie is not over yet.
