I've got 7 at the moment, although Luiz didn't play last game for some reason.

Bournemouth - Boruc, King
West Ham - Anderson
Pool - Salah Robertson
Chelsea - Luiz
Burnley - Cork

So 2 more transfers making sure they both play next week gives 9 max... and always the opportunity to make 3 for the -4 as you'll get 2 back for someone playing when you would have had a zero for a non player otherwise...

Possibly Sterling to Mane, and then using the extra wong to maybe push Rashford to Higuaín?

In this scenario though, you'd still have someone like Hazard who you couldn't cover, who could easily put in a 15 pointer or something gamechanging.
Plus if rivals have their free hit with a full 11, you might lose a 20 pointer.

I'm still tempted to squeeze through, and do the options you mention...
A freehit on a double gameweek could be huge, as could the wildcard.

Benchboost would have to be the week after the wildcard.

Triple captain would then have to be on a single week which isn't ideal though...

A quick question if i may.

I will have 2 free transfers next week which i want to use to improve my squad.

But i also want to use my free hit after ive made the subs, is that allowed ?

No. It will revert back to the squad you had the week before. Effectively if you're free hitting next week then your squad will be exactly what it was at 11.30 today and you don't get to carry any transfers over either.

I'm thinking Kane for captain...doesn't seem a popular pick even though he's against Saints. Got fed up of Salah a few weeks ago so it's a choice of Kane, Aguero or Mane.

To me, both are equally good this week. Look in your mini-leagues, and try to anticipate your main competition's likely captain, and choose thereafter. If you are closing a gap, I'd go for the differential (if you have the stomach for it), and if you are leading I'd go with the safest choice.

I'm pretty far behind and captaining Sterling this week.
 
Hard captaincy this week between Salah and Aguero. Big risk that one tears it up and gets a hatrick.
 
I've left it a bit late, but only just sat down to look at preparing for the upcoming DGW's and BGW's. The current confirmed DGW's look shit, or is that just me?

I have all my chips, so I'm currently thinking to FH next BGW, and save the rest of my chips in the hope some better DGW's news gets revealed. Then I'll use my remaining chips to take advantage of those. Or am I overlooking something?
 
Settled on this team, which also gives me 9 starters for GW31 with the potential of 10 if I use my FT (Peltier to Diop I’m thinking).

This season has been the most topsy turvy I can remember. Not shocked to see that many FPL vertrans who are active on youtube and social media have struggled more this season than usual. Roll on next season I say. My top 10K dreams are over once again.
 
Leicester defence is literally so shit. No idea why I brought Pereira in - blank game week massive trap there!
 
Annoyed I took a 4pt hit because I was sure etheridge wouldn't keep a clean sheet.

Plus point is my second transfer was to bring in Vardy and make him captain

The bonus point system is shambolic. Needs a rehaul next season.

29 from Vardy, Boruc, Digne and those clowns Anderson and Pereira.

Aguero captain haul would be helpful to end the day with a big fat green arrow.

Camarasa first on my bench but no chance of getting those points. He was my planned transfer out to Brooks next week as well but with him coming off injured I don't know what to do now.
 
Who's that lucky so and so already top of the caf league and captained Sterling :mad:
 
And of course.. Aguero does feck all.

Watch Salah score tomorrow too now.
