You’re shitting me, have you read some posts already? The meltdown has already begun, I’m getting the feck out of here it’s darking me out.

Agreed - pre-match meltdowns over line-ups tend do bare good results though...

Moan moan grumble grumble Lukaku this, McTominay that....

Yes, it’s the RedCafe matchday thread.

Why are we set up so defensively and without Martial? Can't see Lingard and Dalot creating too much for Lukaku. Onus is on Pogba to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Hopefully a diamond.

    DDG
    Young Smalling Lindelöf Shaw
    McTominay
    Dalot Fred
    Pogba
    Lukaku Lingard

I'm actually okay with the team.. we played literally 48hours ago and felt like we rushed a few players back too early against Watford.

Hoping Lukaku on the scoresheet again. Lets go lads!
Not another ‘literally 48 hours’

You haven't read that last few pages I take it?

Very narrow. Their FBs like to push on. I’m guessing it’s Lingard to play behind Rom with a 4 man midfield. They like to play Jota behind Jimenez

Looking forward to see this formation and Fred. Fill your boots Rom.

All of you relax about Herrera. Ole says he's injured and I can well believe that after his shit performance on Saturday. Hasn't looked 100% fit to me since he's been back from injury.

 Interesting lineup, rotation it is as Ole hinted before.

I like the looks of McT and Fred partnership.

    DDG
    Young -- Smalling -- Lindelof -- Shaw
    McTominay -- Fred
    Dalot -- Lingard -- Pogba
    Lukaku
    Something like that.
Pogba will have more spaces to attack the left with Shaw, with Dalot and Young on the right. Lingard and Lukaku free at all direction. Doubt Fred would be RCM having two RBs there, so hopefully Fred would be on the left-er side of midfield screening our left defence -- imo he's much better there, often messy performance on the other side.

Martial had a knock last time, upcoming game vs Barca, no point risk him worseningearly. Still need him so benched. Rashford is out ill and Bailly is still injured eh.

    Revenge game.

    Wolves... we owe you one

time for McTominay to keep Matic on the bench and looking forward to the energy of Fred

tight game but I think we edge this 1 nil

    Revenge?

This is Wolves not the scousers

Little concerned about Martial being on the bench despite the rumours he "should " be ok to come on if needed, I hope we don't get a repeat of the Lingard situation, yes it was unexpected we got all those injuries before half time but one of those was through having to use the not fully fit Lingard.

I was impressed with McTomminay against PSG and Liverpool so pleased to see him back, if the Herrera thing is injury related is he another we've had to rush back too soon?

Dropped Matic and Herrera, deserved. They have been playing shit for the last games, expecially Matic.

I can't explain why isn't Rashford even on the bench though.

Any chance we're going with 4-5-1?

    Lukaku

    Lingard - Pogs - McT - Fred - Dalot

    Shaw - VNL - Mike - Young

    Did someone ask you then?

Came back from England duty with a knock. Better to rest cause he's been carrying an injury for weeks.

Looks like a decent team, very harsh on jones to lose his place after a superb performance on Saturday. Hopefully Lingard can not end every attack we have!

You can’t blame Ole for picking that side, we only played 2 hours ago.

I don't understand this lineup. Midfield was awful last two games so change is good but attack? It is not like we play against Bolton at OT.

But i predict some ugly win. Lukaku x2

Edit; our last game finished 20 minutes ago so i understand Ole's logic.

    Rash is ill

Shame about Rashford's injury, but I have no complains with Lukaku starting. No complains with the midfield either. Herrera-Matic-Pogba have been crap the past 3 games, only fair that Fred and McTominay get to start since they've been decent when they had their chance lately.

And if the rumors about Herrera are true then I don't mind him not starting again this season.
