Fantasy Premier League 18/19

I can field 11 players this week without taking any hits in a beautiful 5-4-1 formation.

Hayden is the obvious weakness but I only have 0.2 in the bank. I might take a punt on McNeil as he is aiming to be the first teenager since 2013 (Lukaku) to score in 3 consecutive games.

---------------------Fabianski
Daniels - Pereira - A.Arnold - Luiz - WanBisska
---------Hazard Fraser Hayden Salah
----------------------Vardy

(Aguero - Jimenez - Pogba)

The other option is to take Pogba out who is sitting on the bench. Thoughts on Ramsey or other Arsenal/Everton options?

I'd ditch Pogba personally. Doesn't play this week and not worth keeping now anyway imo.

Anyone taking a big points hit to get up to 11 players? I've only got 8 starters after the free transfer but dont see much point taking too much of a hit if it's going to weaken the team after this GW anyway. Think might just take a hit to get Pogba out after his recent form.

Yeah I think I’ll take Pogba out today, as I planned to use WC next week anyway and he was going to go then.

So, possible Pogba replacements. Arsenal do like to score goals v Everton but Ozil and Ramsey might be benched. On the flip side Arsenal haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home, so Richarlison or Sigurdsson. Any suggestions?

No free hit would mean in a lot of lost points. When would the best time be to use it? I mean even in DGW, a lot of the star players are rested for one of the two games.
Yeah, but in a DGW, with a FH, you have a good chance of maximizing the points, given majority of managers have already used their chips. Some smart transfers can give you the edge. For this GW particularly, there's only 3 quality teams playing: Liverpool, Chelsea attack and Arsenal strikers. With Chelsea and Arsenal's rotation, it's gonna be difficult to predict who's gonna play and deliver.

Additionally, a lot of managers are in the same situation with a handful of starting players in the BGW33. So if you have a WC left, play FH33 and WC 34/35. If not, then maximize with FH35.

Wouldn't like to say tbh. Maddison, Siggurdson, Tielemans.... good shouts. As you've said Arsenal rotate a bit so that's more of a gamble.

Siggy is on set pieces, so my preference would be him.

Who the feck to the cap...?

Mané - Pros - decent form. Cons - not the best record against former club Southampton, plays on Friday (don't like capping early in GW players).

Salah - Pros - defo due a haul, good record against Southampton. Cons - not in great form. utter git, if I cap he will blank,
plays on Friday (don't like capping early in GW players).

Hazard - Pros - in decent form, against a weak team, plays last in GW. Cons - the ultimate FF Troll player, utter git, has EL on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday, might be rested.

Vardy - Pros - good form, no International Break, against relegated dross. Cons - not as explosive as midfield options, looks like Dickensian pick-pocket, essentially a dead rubber game as neither team really has anything to play for.

Really stuck on this one, got a feeling Salah is gonna go nuts, but I hate being let down by the little cnut when Liverpool inevitably win and he does nothing.

Hazard makes sense but again, the guy is an utter git regarding crucial FF captaincies, and might be rested.

Played my triple captain last week on Sterling, but it didn't register, for whatever reason. So I still have it in the bank to waste on a different Shitty player later on.

Don't you have to save the team for it to register. Happened to me last yet when aguero banged a load in :nervous:

I've mused on it all week, and especially today, my predictions -

Salah is blanking, Liverpool will win 2-0 or 3-0, Mané and Bobby White-teeth sharing the goals / assists.

Vardy will double digit, with Maddison assisting highly.

Rondon, Sig and Richarlison will all bring points.

Hazard will haul but be taken off around 70 mins - Hazard cap.

Went for Sigurdsson with my free transfer.

Daniels - Pereira - A.Arnold - Luiz - WanBisska
----Hazard - Fraser - Sigurdson - Salah
----------------------Vardy

The guys in my mini league with 5/6 players starting will probably score more than me

Captain Salah, the 13.2 waste of space.

Late Vardy scare with reports he hadn't trained for 2 days. But some "ITK" who apparently always gets Leicester lineups right, says he's fine!

So him, Mane and Arsenal's goon left wing back in for a -8 point hit.
Bearing in mind I had 3 blanks in my team, and these 3 "should" get a 2 pointer at least, then it's only really a 2 point hit, with obvious potential to smash the points.

I'd take a dreadful Mane and Matip game though, for Southampton just to steal a draw. Bigger picture.

Was a busy week for me.. still absolutely livid with myself for not knowing it was a friday deadline. :(

Which means I'm stuck with fecking Arnautovic (who won't start) in my team instead of trying a one week punt before the WC.

Balls. Friday night match.

I've been on top of my mini league since GW2 but I reckon I'll be caught this week seeing as I only have 8 players playing and none of them are forwards.

7 players - Daniels is injured.

I'm actually quite impressed with my 17 points from Pereira, Wan-Bissaka and Arnold so far. Hazard needs to score big as I don't reckon Felipe Anderson and Pickford are going to bail me out here.

Seven players, -8 hit, still somehow above average. Love Palace.

Got 54 with 3 to play. Just realised ive only got 10 players this week too :nervous:
