UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Overthinking and rotating too much has costed Pep once again. Will he ever learn? Tottenham did nothing special in the end. They were just focused, eager and closed down all the spaces.

Guardiola botched the game tactically. What's this obsession with a greedy and shit player like Mahrez ?

Mahrez is a direct player who did well in a counter attacking team, this style was never going to take the best out of him.

Something about Pep and Champions League away knockout games that makes him do weirder stuff than usual. City should still beat them at home but bizarre to leave it so late to put Sane and De Bruyne on.

That's 2 big ifs. We dont know how would Poch work with money and how would Pep work without money.
Anyway give our manager a chance. ;)
Yeah, money would ruined him. Instead of Sissoko or Llorente he would need to buy decent player.

Can't believe how long Pep waited to bring KDB/Sane on. Like wtf:wenger:

Should've been red for Salah. Disgusting.

Should have had a third goal at least, more importantly was keeping the clean sheet and not letting them get an away goal. We should score in Porto.

Football isn't that simple. You buy decent players and suddenly you're great. He wouldnt be a first coach who works well with a shoe string budget only to disapear in a big club..

Aye, really terrible decision. It's like he wants to prove everyone he's right with his team choice rather than bringing on proven match-winners to change the game with 20/30 minutes left. Almost pointless bringing them on with 5 minutes left.

Salah should get a retrospective ban for that

I dont understand these decisions pro Liverpool.

Remember last year against City.

They don't have any. They're comfortably the most annoying away fans at Old Trafford. They were second only to Portsmouth for a short time when they were in the PL.
What about Chelsea with:
Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea.

I guess they have Come on you Blues too.

What has Klopp achieved?
Won the league and a few cups? Reached the CL final with Liverpool and Dortmund? Better than never doing more than a top 4 spot and a runner up in the league cup. Not shitting on Poch. Just that its beyond laughable to claim otherwise when he hasnt actually achieved anything tangible.

Well played Spurs. Totally deserve their one goal win. The back four were great, Winks was solid in midfield, and that Son goal  Quality. Now don't lose the second leg!

Great result for Spurs. 1-0, clean sheet and If they can score at the Etihad then it's going to be tough for City

It's crazy like:lol: Imagine having the likes of KDB on the bench all that time? I just can't understand it:lol:

They can lose the 2nd leg and still go through. Put them in a fantastic position that result.

Spurs were really solid tonight. City hardly caused them any problems whatsoever. Fair play to them.
