UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

I think Ajax could go and win it you know.

Either Ajax or Spurs deserve to be in the Final. Those are the 2 teams I am rooting for.

Would be a great tie, and a great story for whoever reached the final. Spurs besting the best teams in Germany/England, Ajax besting the best team in Italy & the reigning champs. Rooting for that too.

Daley Blind leaves Man Utd and reaches the Champions League semi-finals.

Well done, Ajax.

Well done Ajax. They have a bit of grit about them too. They've came back from losing positions to draw or win against Bayern and Juve in all four games. And after losing the first leg at home (underservedly) to Real they schooled them at the Bernabeu. They have a real chance of going all the way.

Would be great if Ajax go on to win the CL. They might play Kane-less Spurs in the semis.

Deserved for Ajax.

Atrocious from Juve and Allegri, it's not even like they had an off day. This is just the level of some of these players, can't be missing Chiellini, Mandzukic, Dybala and Costa for a game like this
They've going through an injury crisis. Just not in good enough shape right now. That's the CL

Curious about the peno incident

Insane performance. That second half was ridiculously good. If they had taken their chances it would've been 1-6

Rare feeling for Ronaldo, last time was on the 13th of May 2015... against Juventus.

Ronaldo has looked like he's only capable of scoring with a header, he's got very little left footballing wise, although he makes very little mistakes in the build up chosing the simple passing option.

Happy for Ajax. Hope they go on to win it.

I want to see more of this in European football. This is a credit for the sport.

Ban non champions.
I endorse this post. Seriously.

ÉDIT: Haha seen the correction but I stand by my position; I want that Fourth Place Trophy to no longer be a thing. Wrong thread for that discussion though.

Utter failure and humilliation for Juve. This was supposed to be their year. They went all in with the Ronaldo purchase, RM was in frank deconstruction and Barsa/Bayern are not what they used to be. And still they get knocked out at this stage.

Well done Ajax! Go all the way boys!

Ajax are causing upset after upset and the best thing is they are doing it by playing beautiful football. Will be rooting for them to win the CL. If they don't, then I hope Spurs do it.

Ajax through, so much for buying Ronaldo to win you the league you would have won anyway.
He scored home and away. Literally dragged them past Atletico. Not his fault the team got to april on their last legs with several key players injured. You need luck in CL

Notes to take.

Juventus is shocking even with all of there injuries. they have a lot of work to do in the summer.

Ajax form wise are the best team left.

If Spurs win tomorrow that would be best for football.

An Ajax vs Spurs final is a win win for football.

Any of Liverpool or Barca will most likely win the CL my bet is Barca.

The incredible thing is, they absolutely dominated Real AND Juve, and had Bayern on the edge of defeat in both legs as well if I remember correctly. They play some incredible quick passing football in the final third as well. You can't even say who is the talisman. De Jong looks brilliant, so does de Ligt, but then there are Neres and Ziyech who roam around freely in every game and seem unstoppable with the ball at their feet, then there is Tadic who has some absolute world class skill moments in every single game against these big teams, and van de Beek rounds of and extremely well balanced attacking set up. That's without even mentioning the experienced and reliable players in Blind and Schöne, or an attacking fullback like Tagliafico. They've been insanely good this CL season, and great to watch as well.

Calling it now, Ajax-Liverpool final. Ajax win the CL
