UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

The difference in mentality between last night match and this one is startling. It's a shame our 400 m spend can buy this mentality when dawning a red shirt itself should bring it on.

The manager instills that mentality. Let's see if Ole can do it.

 18 year skipp. The gap of quality is amazing.

Crazy :D Lose one of their pivotal players? Bring on an inexperienced kid. City lose one of the best players in the world? Feck it, bring on another one

Is this a serious question?
Yes of course it is. I always see posters blaming our club because City and Liverpool are doing well.

We don’t have a god given right to win the league every year forever.

Llorente coming on, bold move from Poch but guess he's thinking he needs more goals rather than just hang on to 3-2 which feels near impossible.

Why spurs didn't park the bus after 2-1? Why???
Because that would make it easy for City, as it is basically the same thing they do week in and week out. I think it makes a lot of sense for Spurs to go for more goals. They are not reliable defensively and City look vulnerable and have to attack.

Can someone get this prick off the pitch? How many times does he need to stand up and sit down before he realises he's injured?

Yea, it seems skipp might be too much of a gamble. Llorente though is a poor sub as city is playing a high line and llorente runs slower than a turtle.

What's happened to Stones these days?
Bit bizarre. Had been having a great season by all accounts but has barely featured this past month and even before then he was benched pretty much every few games.

Even in my worse nightmares, I couldn't forsee City and Liverpool fighting on both fronts for the Premier League and Champions League. You'd think the United board would have some shame but I doubt they care.
They'll have a viewing party for the CL final.

Our injuries this season... Did we build the new stadium on an Indian burial ground I wonder? Cursed.

Aside from Ajax Indont

Pochettino will have a lot to answer for if they go out tonight. Serious questions will need to be presented.

Why? Poch always bottles it when it matters most. He is not famous for winning games like this. He is famous for pulling Spurs to the level they are now.

Wow, someone clip that - Trippier defended something

Because we're a United forum. Why the feck would we care about what Spurs or Chelsea are doing? The vast majority of fans on here are United fans. Of course we're going to compare ourselves to our biggest rivals.

Liverpool, in particular, have gone from strength to strength whereas we always seem to be setting new records every season - for the wrong reason. We shouldn't be several levels below these teams. We're Manchester United. Can't believe it needs explaining.

Silva let him back in there. Should have just smashed it with his left foot.
