Champions League Semi Finals (30th April - 8th May)

Spurs getting nasty, tends to happen alot when they dont get their way.

I mean Ajax is good and all, but Tottenham is missing their key players. And they have no depth whatsoever

With their television money (10 million euros a year), that would be a big miss indeed and a wrong comparison seeing as they can not invest as much in squad players to fill that gap.

Yeah because we spend loooooads.

We're missing 4 of our key starting XI players. That hurts any side in the world.

This is how LVG wants us to play if he had the right transfers. Proper dutch football

Depressing :(

, you must not seen most of my post. I have criticized Pochettino before. Regardless, maybe it is because they don’t have much option. Llorente as striker and Eriksen in a midfield two will lose Spurs this game as I predicted before. However, second leg, Spurs will be better with Sissoko and Son. This type of game is where Winks would flourish.

Where are those people that still think Alderweireld is better than De Ligt? Such a ridiculous player at 19. How did we miss out?

We should throw money at them for him but sadly I think he'll follow De Jong to Barcelona

Ajax are such a brilliant team to watch. They move as a team, the awareness, positioning, tactical discipline, technical ability is just brilliant to watch.

Ajax are the perfect club to look at when arguing whether to give a side/young players time. If you look at the team they put out against United in the EL final they have 4 or 5 players who started in that game starting tonight, and then the majority of the other players starting tonight were on the bench in that game.

Square it you cnut

City vs Ajax could have been a really good game considering the way Ajax is playing.

Wanyama and Llorente real liabilities for Spurs here. If Spurs had any other fit midfield options and won of Son, Kane, Lamela etc would be a different game.

There are no fecking excuses anymore.

The obvious move, I'm not even kidding, is to spend 100M or whatever on bringing in Van Der Sar, Overmars and the Ajax manager to run things for the next 10 years like City did by just hiring Barcelona's management. Makes more sense than signing another star like Pogba to paper over the cracks (are we really any better than Wolves or Watford would be if you plugged in Pogba for Will Hughes or Dendoncker?).

Ajax should have made that 2, player had to square it. I would say they may regret missing these chances but I thought the same in the first legs vs Madrid and Juve.

I should start watching football that doesn't involve United more often, this football is sexy stuff.

I’ve been watching for about 5 minutes but feck me I haven’t seen a match look like boys against men this much in a long long time.

Yeah because we spend loooooads.

It's still a wrong comparison. You've still spent more over years to build your squad than them. They have to deal with all their best players being sold time and time again.

Look at this football, they are toying with you on a footballing level that goes beyond quality of players.

Add to that that this is ajax back in the CL since when? All guys with very few cl experience.

He couldn’t cross it, and Lloris was already gone. Good decision but poor execution.

Van de Beek is fecking absolutely class.
