It's not relevant if they were manned (though all had 3 guys around them) as the point is she easily could have. Especially as you had good old captain dead-eye right there.

Not that it would ever happen on tv anyway, but let's not bother making excuses as to why they might not have succeeded there. If this was in any way real, Cersei would have easily wiped them all there plain and simple ;)

Terrible writing... So much stuff the doesn't make any sense whatsoever. And that is not even including the ridiculous final scene. I absolutely hate how they downgraded Tyrion to a begging dimwit.

To write this story in a few months without plotholes with the budget and scheduling problems they have in a way that satisfacts the majority of fans while fitting a 10 seasons narrative into 2 or 3 seasons? Not even a genius could do it, it's simply not possible to do it while keeping the quality of the first few seasons.

The damn creator of the whole thing has gone a decade to write the next book...

Yes, he tries to reason with his sister who wants him dead. And he always does it when she has the advantage. It would be something else if Dany was storming KL before the great war.

Nah my point is if it's not manned then her team aren't in immediate danger

Then It comes to chance if in the middle of this face off that cersie tries to man it to get rid of danys team. Cos they have to go for the dragon first realistically. Otherwise she risks being flamed whilst being out in the open and vulnerable herself

Danys team going there and being open and vulnerable herself whilst all the opponent's weapons are manned is silly though especially with nothing to retaliate with (but one dragon who I guess is far away to escape and dodge and initial shot at it but not really rescue them or do much without being shot itself )

Tbh good writers can write good stuff pretty quickly. If caftards can tear dialoge and story apart, they should have an editor to keep it quality. And yes the Cersei/Euron scene was retarted. Just like Jon swearing Arya and Sansa to secrecy and then Sansa spilling the beans in more or less the next scene. It's all too rushed. Obviously they want to get things going and wrapped up, but the writing is childish.

Again though, the point is she WOULD have done it. Any of us would, you'd have to be monumentally stupid to pass up that opportunity.

In any case, it's not worth banging on down this road any longer mate, because we all get why it didn't go down like that. It was a daft scene all round, but no dafter than many before it. My only real criticism is why the episode before people were defending the Dothraki charge as "that's exactly what they'd do!" when right here they are defending Cersei for doing the exact opposite.

This bloody program has fried us all :lol:

The theory goes that what Tyrion might have (intentionally or not) achieved with his speech to Cersei, is not immediately apparent. Tyrion has not been in the capital for a long time, same goes for his brother Jamie who left to fight in the North. How could he know that Cersei was pregnant?

The answer is, only if he knew from Jamie that his sister is pregnant with his baby. As suggested at the end of last season before Jamie left King's Landing. That could well put seeds on Euron's mind that Cersei was pregnant before sleeping with him. Making him the same cuckold as King Robert and nothing but a pawn in Cersei's plan.

And that might have an impact on Euron's decision making.

Tyrion knew, he guessed she was pregnant when they met to discus the Lanister Army going north to help against the night king.

Except Tyrion DID know, and there's a strong possibility she's already lost the baby. Remember the blood scene?

It's more likely Jaime finding out she's not changes his motives. Euron may or may not be pissed, but he'll likely die to Yara or some shit like that anyway.

See, for the dothraki I would have added a line this episode from dany blaming others for their charge and Jon saying they acted out of plan once their swords were on fire
And dany did the same with her dragon which almost lost her the dragon

Again, I have no issue with cersei not doing it. She had plenty of chances imo to kill tyrion and she didn't before this (and there's the unknown of how strong danys army really is right now)
Taking a shot at dany or Manning the weapons goes against what she wanted to achieve

Also her pushing missandei would have been crazy esp if missandei falls and doesn't actually die :lol:
 
How did any of Unsullied stay alive, they were hidden somewhere?
Staeted watching after half the episode. Why are some Dany forces going to Storms end and where is Jon going?

Most of them retreated inside the gate when the initial wave of whites broke through the first group.
 
Just watched the preview for next weeks episode and it ended with Euron looking a little shocked while staring at the sky after hearing a dragon screech in the clouds above which made me think that there is potentially another dragon or two on its way. Why on earth would he look a little stunned? Missandei’s last words before she got killed by the mountain was “Dracarys” which you know means dragon fire. Must have been a message.

Wasn't Euron already circling Cersei last season while Jamie still in the KL? It's not a long leap if given that:
a) Cersei "broke up" with Jamie in dramatic fashion, also trying to get him killed
b) Jamie told Tyrion about Euron
c) She had just used Euron's fleet to bring back the Golden Company and take down a dragon

..that Tyrion worked out they were now probably together in some capacity. Tyrion couldn't have known that Cersei told him it was his, but that doesn't matter. Cersei pregnant by Jamie could still spoil it for Euron whether he thought he was the father or didn't know Cersei was pregnant at all.
 
Unless it happens in the first scene of next episode, not entirely sure why Cersei didn't just wipe everyone out. There's like 10 of them and they're insanely outgunned without even a hope of inflicting any damage beyond Qyburn. Would solve like 80% of Cersei's problems, with only mopey Jon (who's admittedly sick) leading the charge with no dragons - or wolf (austerity CGI bill).

Anyway, we'll hopefully have a cracking ep that answers some of these q's next week.
