Solskjær press conference vs Chelsea (H)

Ole is being politically correcr, which is understandable. He'd make a very good politician.

Could you imagine if the caf was about after the summer of 95, the place would have broken the internet with the metldown.

Yes we all know Woodward and the Glazers are horrible fecks who don't give two fecks about the club, the window is done.

Rather than burning Ole at the stake like a hell of a lot of fans are doing, lets actually see how we do, personally my only worry is that midfield but I am excited to see a new formation, pressing high, pace, energy, going at teams and the emergence of Gomes/Greenwood/Tuanzebe especially.

Yeah we won't win the league this year, we have a massive fight on our hands for top 4 but I am looking forward to the a bit more free flowing football, attacking with pace and playing without fear!

Feck everyone writing Ole off already, bring on Sunday lets get into these rentboy fecks!

Hopefully Ole comes out with something similar in his press conference, youth, pace, high pressing, attacking and being on the front foot

No. We’ve won 5 major trophies under Sir Alex by that time.

Levels.

THere is literally no point to these press conferences. Solskjaer should just prerecord himself and let it be played each week.

If the journalists wrote the exact same article each week we wouldn't realise for ages

Understand fans negative mood?
Of course we want to put that right and the only way we can put an doubts is by playing good football, showing the team we want to be, the style we want to play and our fans when they see that intention have always been supporting the team but within the team and the club we’re feeling very confident and don’t feel that negativity you’re talking about.

Young Jesse will replace Big Rom's goals.

Just a yes man
Jesus, what do you want him to do?

Stand on the desk, drop his trousers, whip off his green and gold underpants, revealing his cock, on which he's tattooed "GLAZERS OUT"

Get a fecking grip.

Net spend? Money there to make changes needed?
I said earlier in pre-season last season as well it’s not about a quick fix it’s a long rebuild, about the right players right people in and it’s not about suddenly changing it at all when you haven’t got the right ones and he correct answers from the players you wanted to have if it’s doubt most of the time there’s no doubt and you’d rather trust the ones we have.

There is money available when the right players are available.

On facing Lampard
Just happy he’s not playing, he’d score goals wouldn’t he? It’s no different to any other manager we’re not players anymore, we’re managers and we had a managers’ meeting on Wednesday and I spoke to him there.

Sanchez? Could he go?
Alexis has come in and trained well, of course he’s four or five weeks behind the boys and he has not played apart from the one behind closed doors here, I think he’ll see this as an opportunity as well to make his mark.

I do expect him to stay, there’s a striker there we think is going to be able to score some goals.

Captain?
There’s a few here in that group beneath Ashley and there are some leaders. You might get a clue on Sunday.

Lukaku not professional as Neville said? You happy with Lukaku?
I have always had a good relationship with Rom, open and honest, we’ve spoken to each other openly and frankly and have no issue between me and Rom but we are now obviously, who’s here, we’re very happy with them.

If Ole says he is happy with the forward line and he is dedicated to playing youth teamers then the genuine should be asked, why did the club so publicly court Dybala.

We are woefully short in midfield and no business will be done in January to reflect this, as the company line of 'We do our main business in the summer' will be trotted out.

Most importantly I hope Ole is asked why he didn't follow up on clearing out the dead wood as he had said he would. Is he 'just following orders'.

Lukaku was clearly unhappy about his role and Herrera hadn't signed a contract so i was not completely surprised they are gone. Plenty of fans were calling for them to be axed prior to that quote as well and neither of them seem committed to the club; Lukaku engineered a move and Herrera turned down a new contract in favour of more money from PSG. Both were entitled to do that of course but they also had opportunities to stay which they declined.

But I am just referring to the wording of his quote from April, its accurate.
Almost nobody was calling out for Herrera to be sold. That’s BS. I agree about Lukaku though.

Players still leave?
There might be, the thing is it’s not about who we don’t want here, it’s about who we want here and you’re gonna see that in the team selections and who’s with us in the long run.

Thoughts on VAR
I am for it when it makes the factual decisions correct. so if you are offside two yards, two centimetres, you are off. That is a big thing. As long as it happens quickly it is going to be a benefit and make the league more fair.

Ole is happy with the squad. Thus anything beyond this point he will have to carry his share of responsibility.

The state of this thread even before the presser. My God... Absolutely atrocious.. It will be a fun season it seems. Pitchforks already out for Ole, I fully expect him to be hated and called all kind of names here. I mean it's already happening.. What do you expect him to say, call out Woodward? Say he isn't happy with the squad?
Jose called Ed out and everybody was up in arms. Now it's expected from Ole to call out his boss publicly? Even if he's not happy with the lack of additions should he say it?
Does all that make him a puppet, a yes man, a man without balls?

Lukaku goals loss?
Of course Rom has a good record and stats he’s one of the top number nines around when you wanna play with that kind of striker, target man, for me I’m very confident that we’ll get goals from Martial, Rashford, James will create, I’m sure Jesse Lingard will get more. We have a different attacking set-up this month.

So, does this mean Sanchez will be played as a striker. Could offer something hopefully.

"So Ole, are you happy with the squad?"

"No, they're all fecking shit, I can't believe we're going to start this season with this bunch of cnuts. That Pogba, well let's just say I agree with Ron Atkinson on that, Youngy is toss, Rashy couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, and Anthony is a stroppy baguette eating French cnut. Phil Jones is a gurning Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime, Chris Smalling turns like C3PO, and Ed Woodward still drinks breast milk from his mums tit"

Would that make you more happy?

What should he say exactly?
I do think he should give a lot of opportunities to younguns but I don't expect him to shut on the board exactly at this point.

He's not going to say he's unhappy with the squad two days before our first match is he?

Pocchettino complained about how Spurs were conducting themselves in the transfer market and guess what? The skies didn't fall over. Actually it gave Spurs the kick at the backside needed to act.

If he's a yes man then he's part of the problem not part of the solution.

Did you expect more signings?
Well that’s not the feeling indie the club and the feeling with the fans I’ve met are excited with the ones we’ve had there are always going to be fans out there wanting to sign players that’s part and parcel of being here.

The players are here now and have been shown that trust and we believe in them.
That's the funny thing with famous people. No one is honest to their face

To be fair, Pocchettino knows he can complain (as he has done for ages now) and there will be no repercussions for him... Also, he has a squad that is fully behind him, Ole isn't as secure in his job (yet) and can't really afford to not have players onside before the season starts.

The fact that he mentions Lingard as some crucial player for us worries me a lot.

To be fair, this summer is quite a bit different to that summer.

Spent hardly a penny, there was loads of kick off about Martin Edwards at the time, how he was running the club etc. being written off by absolutely everyone, media went into meltdown after Villa smoked us on the opening day.

Not all that different

Also. Pochettino had a lot more reason to complain, considering they spent literally nothing in the previous season.
