There you are now.
Jose won 2 in one season and 6 months later 95% of our fan base wanted him gone.
Give Ole a chance to build something before hanging him out to dry
There you are now.
He's only a dead man walking if fans don't appreciate he's been shafted by the board this summer.Dead man walking.
Shambolic window, squad is poor and top 4 will be a miracle. He’ll bear the brung of it and he won’t last the season.
Not that it’s his fault. The players let him down at the back end of last year and when the going gets tough, some of them will again.
fecking hell, best strikerIf someone told you that Lukaku our best striker would be sold and not replaced, and Herrera our second best CM the same, would you have though that was the plan all along, and that it was a good idea? I would have never imagined that. If that was what he meant and planned, then feck me that is shambolic.
Far from BS, just a quick search turned up the following thread from a year ago with people saying he was average and should go.Almost nobody was calling out for Herrera to be sold. That’s BS. I agree about Lukaku though.
"So Ole, are you happy with the squad?"
"No, they're all fecking shit, I can't believe we're going to start this season with this bunch of cnuts. That Pogba, well let's just say I agree with Ron Atkinson on that, Youngy is toss, Rashy couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, and Anthony is a stroppy baguette eating French cnut. Phil Jones is a gurning Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime, Chris Smalling turns like C3PO, and Ed Woodward still drinks breast milk from his mums tit"
Would that make you more happy?
The fact that he mentions Lingard as some crucial player for us worries me a lot.

To be fair, Pocchettino knows he can complain (as he has done for ages now) and there will be no repercussions for him... Also, he has a squad that is fully behind him, Ole isn't as secure in his job (yet) and can't really afford to not have players onside before the season starts.
Spent hardly a penny, there was loads of kick off about Martin Edwards at the time, how he was running the club etc. being written off by absolutely everyone, media went into meltdown after Villa smoked us on the opening day.
Not all that different
By all accounts Ole had words with Lingard over the summer about his poor form and his social media antics. I think this is more the boss telling Lingard he expects performances or he could well be on his way.
Honestly not sure what people want a manager to say anymore.THere is literally no point to these press conferences. Solskjaer should just prerecord himself and let it be played each week.
If the journalists wrote the exact same article each week we wouldn't realise for ages
The fact that he mentions Lingard as some crucial player for us worries me a lot.
I love that he's putting so much faith in Mason Greenwood.
And you think he'll believe that? FFS even Jones and Rojo are still here.
Haven't even kicked a ball yet.Jose won 2 in one season and 6 months later 95% of our fan base wanted him gone.

Personally I think appointing Solskjaer will bit them in the arse because fans are more likely to turn on Woodward and the Glazer's before they go for Solskjaer.
Honestly, the level of disrespect is fecking astounding. I bet almost all of them were reaching for his taint during the winning run as well.Let's all take the piss out of Ole! Yay! This will be fun!
We'll see. I really hope he does. I was left disappointed with the lack of youth that played last season, he really didn't back up the youth talk last year.I love that he's putting so much faith in Mason Greenwood.
Well, I'm optimistic we have turned a corner with Ole now. Blind faith, perhaps!
I think him not being in the EFL Trophy squad against Rotherham was a big indicator he's going to be featuring against ChelseaMe too. Proper excited to see what he can do with a regular spot in the first team. Hopefully when he says he'll play a lot, he doesn't just mean the cups.
It’s a fine line between criticizing the board and letting the world know you have no faith in your squad to hit lofty achievements. We know because we saw how what is roughly the same squad gave up on Mourinho early on last year.
We will all do well to understand that whatever Ole says will be said with the goal of keeping his squad positively focused and as motivated as possible.
Ole publicly condemning ownership and the board on the eve of the season’s kick off is completely off of the table. At most he will praise the stability that Aaron and Harry will bring to our back line, along with the promising talent James brings to the table.
His one and only focus is on the Chelsea game on Sunday, as it should be. Whether you like the squad in it’s current state or not, these are the players we have for now and all Ole cares about is getting them off to the best start possible.
He's not going to say otherwise though and I can't blame him. Creating a division of 'them and us' is only healthy when it's not fighting within your own club.fans would have rallied around if he needed help however he seems quite happy with the squad.
Every case is different. All I’m saying is that with saf in charge, there would be no meltdown.
I remember summer 2009 and that was far worse than 95 or 2019 imo. We’ve sold the most talented player we’ve ever had, didn’t resign one of best players in our squad and let him go to our rivals. Then proceeded by signing a lad from Wigan, Obertan and Owen on a free. Just imagine the meltdown now. No with Sir Alex, fans just knew he’d get us through choppy waters.
We had won two league titles in the previous 3 years, and an FA Cup ... Nobody had any realistic concerns about our manager... we had a squad full of proven top class players that you knew would continue to be top class... you knew you had Cantona coming back a few weeks into the season.... there was still definitely a lot of differences.

It's pointless, the people you're addressing this to just don't get it.
Haven't even kicked a ball yet.
Toxic, sad bunch.
Bit of luck we lose a lot of these 'fans' along the way.
We are no shorter in attack than Chelsea, 'Pool and Spurs. Midfield needs attention but it seems we'll have to develop our own; because glazers sure won't give us funds to buy a midfield.Crap man. Can someone just come out and say to him that we are short in attack and midfield? Want to hear what he says to that.
Full of pant wetters in here.
Let's not put too much pressure on the lad, give him a season or two to bed in and find his feet.
Dont have time to keep debating all day. We handed new contracts to Jones, Smalling, Rojo, Mata and Young. All of those players should have either been sold or just let go. Because they are all on high wages and no one wants to buy them because of that and they are not good enoughRojo's contract was a terrible decision to try get some thing back for him (or maybe not if we find someone daft enough to buy him).
Expecting Young and Jones sold from Solskjaer's comments after Everton is just twisting his words into what you wanted to happen.
Yes man, puppet, man without balls, Lil Ole, did I miss some?Let's all take the piss out of Ole! Yay! This will be fun!
