Nonsense. United's squad is clearly better, Solskjaer has much better choice in squad depth and experience and spent serious money in the summer, addressing the team's defensive issues. Chelsea lost their best player and couldn't correct their squad flaws due to the transfer ban, so they have to rely on their youth more than they normally would have wanted to.
United will be aiming at top four finish and if they fail, OGS's future will be in serious doubt. Chelsea will probably finish around 6th, if things go well, or around midtable if not, depending on how fast Lampard will adapt to the biggest test of his coaching career to date and how well will the young talent manage to realize their potential. This Chelsea side is a work in progress and the season is a write-off.
