Pereira forced him in to a mistake. When City do this they’re praised for having a high press. When we do it everyone can’t state enough about how we’ve been gifted a goal due to an individual error.

That was a howler and there was no high press. It was a player closing another player down. Doing his job.
The defender under pressure on the line knocks it out for a throw. No danger. But somehow he manages to bounce the ball off his own legs.

An absolute howler of a mistake led to a possession loss here and Pereira did really well to whip a first time cross on to a plate for Martial.
