Freak
Born a freak always a freak.
With Mata’s form he should have started. It’s not like Pereira gave us anything throughout the game.
We still have a long way to go to get to that Level produced by Liverpool today. Anyone that understands football will see that we were completely outplayed and it was a repeat of the City game. However, we played much better today.
we as United fans needs to ask ourselves.....Is ole really the right guy that will take us to that next level?? I don’t see it.
Football bloody hell, the Arsenal team we beat 8-2 played miles better than we did today.
We could have lost 8-2 today, god must be a Liverpool fan, them spanking us today may have quickened OGS departure, most ABU's want him managing us for as long as possible.
Not really a shocking result by any means, nor performance. Liverpool is a mastodon at the moment.
It's annoying how poor our set pieces are. Both defending and attacking. We really, really need to start grabbing a goal here and there from set pieces.
Luckily Chelsea lost to Newcastle so nothing has really changed.
At the moment Rashfords injury overshadows my annoyance with the result. It's criminal how poor management it is from Solskjær and staff. Happened to Pogba too and he risked it with Maguire as well.
Agree with this. I thought they didn't solve United's pressing well at all. Hoofing it in the general direction of Salah isn't really heavy metal football, is it? That said, there were United players with sub par performances.... again.Don't actually understand how Liverpool are undefeated. We wasted a lot of good opportunities and played mostly poor, yet we should have probably got something.
It will be the medical staff giving the advice. Not Ole.
Which is why I typed "and staff". We don't know if he acted against the medical staff recommendations in an act of desperation, or if the medical staff simply is incompetent.
Yep. The pics were the best thing I saw yesterday, and despite my feelings about the result made me chuckle. Kudos@Damien I am loving the “Cannae take the strain” pictures.
Please add more !!
I thought we had a decent game yesterday, started very bright and finished the final spell of the game strong despite the Salah goal.
There was one spell in the game where they outclassed us (start of the second half) but other than that we went toe to toe with them.
Can’t really pinpoint anyone who had a bad game with the possible exception of (weirdly) AWB who seemed off all game, when normally he is one of our most composed.
Fred and Matic both had good games as did Shaw. Martial looked very dangerous by the end as well.
Worlds apart from that shit show against City the other week.
It still hurts to lose against the scousers and see their disgusting run continue but they’re the strongest club team in the world right now and we had to go and play them away with three of our best players injured.
Despite the meltdown and over analysis in the media it changes very little in the race for top 4.
I’m much more depressed by the Rashford news.
Did they know for sure he had a stress fracture when he played against Wolves?
How can you blame what Ole says at HT ? Can he make Pereira control a ball, look up and pass it ? That's not tactics, it's having a crap player. He result was nowherre as bad as I feared but once again I am baffled by what the plan is, where we are headed and just what Ole tells them before they leave the changing room and again at half time... passing was slo lablorued, slwo and shite. thje gulf between the teams was siummed up by the quality of Liverpool's passing. this will go on until we change manager/get a proper DoF/replace Woodward. Another poor, drab, headless-chicken run out
I'd defend Fred to an extent: we had three ful back on the field and Fred still had to play as one for large partys of the game. we are a jokeThe actual basic touch and control in the final third when we were attacking and had good openings was shocking.
Pereira, James and even Fred at times really let us down. Until Utd don't get quality in those positions, a judgement on Ole has to be on hold surely.
What an absolute tragedy I'd be if the medical team were and are unaware of our players physical condition and well being.
Madness that United fans are buying what a scouse legend is saying about their club knowing full well he spat on a child once because his team lost to United...
Well, it is probably more complicated than that. Mechanical back pain is really common, They may not have looked for a stress fracture initially? If the knew he had a stress fracture he'd be out of the squad.
Of course they knew. They've already said that Rashford had aggravated his back which means it was a pre condition. Also Rashford has been carrying around a bone fracture healing machine for the last couple of weeks so that alone should tell us what we need to know.
They've dropped points once all season, if that's long ball FC then feck me we all need to do it!Meh. With the injuries we had and the difference between the respective teams’ development, it was a decent enough performance.
They play some horrible brand of football, though. Don’t be fooled by the Scouser-infested media. Longball FC.
This is such BS, what are we then if they're shite to watch? They could of had 4-5 goals easily, WE are SHITE to watch! 30 points ahead let that sink in!This all day. Just a constant stream of turn it forward and put full backs under pressure. They are shite to watch.
We did ok, considering.
Don't actually understand how Liverpool are undefeated. We wasted a lot of good opportunities and played mostly poor, yet we should have probably got something.
Well clearly the issue was not thought to be as serious as it turned out. Complicated business medical science so I'll leave it to our medical team as they'll know best!
They've dropped points once all season, if that's long ball FC then feck me we all need to do it!
People need to realise the team we were playing against.
This is a Liverpool team on the top form, even a fully fit Man-City struggle to beat them.
To go into the last 15 mins where they were looking shaky at the back, we could have easily knicked a goal or two.
Yes Liverpool had chances, but they always will and most of their chances came from Defensive mistakes and trying to pass out. Whereas, we create 2/3 very good chances.
I haven't seen this Liverpool team nervy, they were yesterday for the last 15.
Lets be honest, with that attack we had out it was going to be a struggle.
Good points - this is why I don't feel too bad at the moment, we put out an inujry weakened team (from a thin squad) and weren't totally overrun by the best team in the league. I think they were nervy because they were smart enough to know that we had the capability to snatch a draw at 1-0.
It was a tight win for Liverpool and I say this through clenched teeth, but that is what great teams do - win. This is a great team and it's their moment.
Our team didn't let up or look beaten, though and 2-3 good signings with the same attitude will make us competitive.
