To be honest, I dont think he is being disingenuous, just stubborn.
I've seen his posts in other threads and he just WILL NOT back down from any opinions he has, regardless of accuracy, sensitivity or lots of other posters trying to convince him otherwise. Instead he doubles down and probably easier to ignore.
100% Trump knew what he meant and the connotations.
This is spot on and very insightful. Kind of removes all the bells and whistles to explain the issue and it's significance. Interesting take on "society" too.

As a side note I just noticed that the officer still had his knee firmly on George’s neck when those guys came and they don’t seem to tell him to remove it. Even as they’re setting up the stretcher...
No specific medical cause of death mentioned. Sure there would be exacerbating factors with regards to co-morbidities (including hypertension and atherosclerosis) that may have made him more susceptible to hypoxia and presumably cardiac arrest but i can't see how they can say you need pathological signs of strangulation or traumatic asphyxia to make the diagnosis. Even if you can't see overt signs of central cyanosis it is wise to rule out asphyxia simply on that basis.
Did they study his organs for signs of perfusion damage due to possible lack of blood flow from the carotids? I remember once in anatomy class trying to demonstrate palpation of carotid pulse and did it stupidly on both sides for just a few seconds and the demonstrator told me off.They mentioned themselves that "violent restraint" is what contributed - but how? How did that violent restraint manifest in terms of a pathological process which killed him?
And the bit about potential intoxicants is bizarre agreed. I think the implication might be opioids or any other substances which either resulted in or contributed to respiratory or cardiac arrest but without a tox screen thats just an asinine presumption to make.
Mind you I'm willing to give that pathologist benefit of the doubt that the full report is possibly more nuanced etc and limited by what they were able to examine but the intoxicants bit and the rest of the paraphrased stuff from preliminary findings and the way its been phrased makes me think I'm being over-generous.

Yeah, I don't really know what uniforms they wear over there so thought I'd have a read through to try to figure out why people who weren't paramedics would be arriving in and ambulance. As you say, the full report will be a lengthy document, so we're working off snippets here. All I would infer from those snippets is that he didn't have the bruising (+/_ cricoid damage) on his neck you'd associate with being strangled and (struggling to remember pathology lectures here!) I think you get pulmonary petechiae from asphixyation? Good point about carotid pressure, although it would have to be absolutely brutal to infarct his brain (and that would show up very clearly)
The mention of the co-morbidities would make me speculate that there might have been evidence of an MI? Although, if so, why not come out and say it? It's actually possible that the pathologist found this as the cause of death but wanted to hedge his bets by referencing the restraint and talking about underlying cardiac disease. Would have caused an absolute uproar if they gave cause of death as a heart attack, even if they also gave the appropriate context. In my opinion, if you violently restrain someone and he gets a heart attack due to this prolonged and unnecessary stress than that's as good as murder. Although many may not see it that way.
Feck knows really. We'll only work out what actually happened when the full report is released (including tox screen, even though I reckon that is a red herring)
EDIT: Basically, I doubt the content of the full report itself is politically motivated but choosing to release just that tiny section from within it almost certainly is.
