@Carolina Red do you know if the plantations have been attacked?
I visited the Magnolia one last year, and it is a beautiful place, but also a whitewashing scheme. It's like a Disneyland + slavery history place all in one. Super expensive as well. Every ride or tour is charged separately.
I was kinda Ok with it, until I find out that the
owners are the same people who had the slaves. I thought that it was state owned by now, donated or something. But no... the fecker are still profiting on slavery.
When I left I felt like an idiot for paying them like 500 dollars. (Did saw a nice bald eagle, so I guess only for that it was worth it)
I wish people went to burn that shit down (the historical house at least) instead of small local shops.
