How can you not find the crowd noise super endearing ? It’s an attempt to make things feel normal and I fully support it to be honest.

It's optional yes. I can flick go sky main event to see with crowd noises.
They played a celebration just now when the keeper saved a villa shot

I dunno which I prefer, can tell it's canned noise, but the silence without it just makes it feel like a training game

Switched back to the PL channel. Don’t like that fake crowd noise. Seems so out of sync
I wouldn't mind the crowd noise if there wasn't such a big delay between the action and the reaction.
Villa have started well.
I wan't it without the crowd noise or the announcers with the pitch mic'ed up. Would love to hear the players and coaches.

The noise would be okay if it was a little lower, it's too loud at the moment. Plus they need to get better at the key moments, will probably take a couple of games to make it work alright. It does sound weird though when you see an empty stadium. Also it sounds too artificial at the moment.

Like VAR, the crowd noise is being utilised poorly. Bundesliga did it much better.
