Champions League Knockouts (12 Aug - 23rd Aug)

They miss Cavani on a frustrating night like this. Icardi is a great finisher but doesn’t do enough to work defenders.

Has Anthony Taylor got some booking quota to meet

Say what you want about Neymar and his attitude but he sure is entertaining.

The defensive shape of Atalanta today is possibly the most compact I've seen in years (maybe since Benitez was Liverpool manager). You could put a blanket over their entire XI when PSG are in possession.

Is Zapata going to have to keep this up as a lone striker? Looks exhausting.

Target man on top of that. Always running in positions and fending off defenders, I would die of exhaustion within 15 minutes haha.

Tuchel is a comic figure, entirely appropriate he’s in plaster. A touch of Basil Fawlty about him.

Gasperinis shoes selection doesn't do any good to the notion of chic that Italian men are supposed to embodify.

Pirlo to the rescue.

I liked his style when he was at dortmund but he has been underwhelming since joining PSG. Becoming another emery.

20 minutes maybe 2 opportunities max to equalize

Not even joking, Greenwood buries that.

I loved Herrera when he was here, but we've not missed anything. In games where onus is on the midfield to create, he's pretty average.

Is Kehrer a natural RB? PSG could really do with someone better than him

Is it worth sticking a 10er on PSG to win in 90 minutes?

Looking at Herrera I can see how average he is, a player you wouldnt notice at all and still here he was rated by some as a key player.

How much of a legendary season (and encounter) would that have been without the return leg?
We won in Munchen but everyone and their dog remember Mihajlović assisting that own goal, truly a legendary moment. I think that draw in Belgrade is much more remembered than the final in Bari itself. Pitch invasion after the game and all.

I wasn't even born then:lol:

But after all this talk I like this one leg further over home & away better, not that it matters as it's not happening ever.
