Not really. Pretty standard performance under Mancini. The difference is Veltman can't deal with Immobile at all, and Spinazzola seems to be on a good night so we're actually looking dangerous in attack
Of course Italy goes and scores a nice team goal after I say that, it doesn't take away from the abomination of a half I just witnessed though

Agreed. We are playing so, so poor. Can’t seem to hold on to the ball, no creativity at all. No attacking prowess whatsoever. One of the worst first halves i’ve seen in years. Vd Beek very poor as well.
They'd better off without him honestly. Him or De Roon, one is them is unnecessary and they'd be better off with Bergwjin's pace

Nothing really to do for VdBeek honestly. Our midfield is being completely outplayed, he's usefull when we dominate or can at least set up a counter, but we're being properly schooled. Been a while since Ive seen us outplayed so badly.
Hat's of to italy though, those backs are brilliant.
